A thirst-quenching American Pale Ale with a pleasurable hop aroma and taste. A chip off the same block as our Big Nose cypress knee wood spirit, Stump Knocker is a bit smaller, but he’s got the same hop headed attitude! Stump Knocker features late flavor and aroma hops, augmented with dry hopping and our unique hop filtering process as we transfer the fermented ale to conditioning tanks for carbonation and aging. These techniques produce a hop-centered ale with a crisp, balanced finish that will recharge your palate! Can from homer, amber pour, off white head that leaves a nice lacing pattern. Hop resin, stone fruit, solid malt base, faint caramel. Light to medium body with ample carbonation to keep it chugging down the track.

Pours a clear golden amber w/fizzy head. Aromas of fruity hops and citrus. Smooth hoppy taste with citrus and pine tail.

On tap @ Swamp Head. Slightly hazed orange pour with a white head. Some bready malt along with a big dose of zesty orange, some lemon, and canned peaches. Nicely sweet without being too much, though it’s kind of still on the caramel side rather than more bready, like I’d prefer. Hints of dried pineapple on the finish.

12oz can. Cloudy dark pumpkin color with a nice beige head. Dulled hops & a lightly sweet, earthy, old orange & wood flavor. Tasted more like an English pale ale than an Anerican one. Likely old, but it had no best by date. Medium+ body and medium- carbonation.

Draft at Maggie’s Attic. Rusty gold colored with a thin head on top that yields spots of lacing. The aroma is a bit floral with citrus hops and a toasted character. There’s a crispness to the flavors of toasted malt, caramel, and citrus hops. Easy-going and refreshing. Borderline thin. Pretty unexciting overall but a solid beer I’d have no problem going back to.

Sampled at gabf. Clear golden amber. A sweeter fruited nose. Flavor too. Fruit and thistly hops. Decent.

Another good IPA - Lagunitas are still my favorite, but this isn't bad at all. I haven't had a bad IPA BUT I'VE HAD plenty that are mediocre. This is mediocre. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at TR Fire Grill, Orlando. "Classical" caramel, citrus and pine aroma with strawberry accents. Almost clear copper under wispy white. Pretty dry caramel flavour with moderate to medium bitterness. Faint nutty accent. Surprised by lack of hops flavour after inviting aroma. Medium light body, medium carbonation, crisp and refreshing.

On tap at Hotel B, Lake Buena Vista. This was a real surprise in the hotel bar. Sharp fresh aroma of grapefruit and pine. Lovely pale amber colour, great bitter palate, with a little sweet caramel just lurking in the background. Finishes woody and fruity, with, to me, some blackcurrant/raspberry notes. Really enjoyed this, despite being served in a jamjar....

Pours a copper golden color with a white head. Citrus nose with faint raw potato coming through. Nice citrusy hop character and toasted malt.
