Hazy amber with a thick head. The aroma is massive and weedy. Mmmmmm hop cone. Medium bitterness, kind of creamy and with a good hop character.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, superb Nelson Sauvin hops, grape, white wine, lemons, superb. In mouth, a nice light quaffer of a pale ale with light biscuitty malts, very smooth hops. On tap at Oldsmar Tap House, Jan. 4 2011.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft… Hazy, dark amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is mostly constructed of apricot and grapefruit although there is an additional, more subtle note of Pacific pine. Medium to full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor provides some very nice rindy bitterness pinned to an understated backbone of caramel malt. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Much better than expected.

Draf. Cloudy orange color, small but thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of orange peel and lemon bread. Taste is rising raw bread dough and bitter orange. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My Bottom Line:
This generic American Pale Ale shares light caramel and mild citrusy hop resins.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the misty dull amber.
-Malts offer subtle toast aromas as well.
-Drinkability is quite high, which is the point I’m sure, but the flavor profile and aroma are very forgettable.
-Mouthfeel is lean.
-Aroma is deficient for what I like in the style.
On tap at Coffee District.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Dunedin. This brew pours a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Hoppy aroma with notes of pine and citrus. medium body with flavors of piney hops, cracker-infused malt and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft @ FBGBF ’010. Pours hazy gold with thin white head. The aroma is sugary sweet with equal amounts of citrus and malts with some pine hoppiness in the background. The taste is smooth and refreshing with grapefruit and tangelo up front to go along with a little bit of pine around the edges and followed by sugary sweet maltiness. This is a solid hot weather pale ale I will seek out.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap at Green Room Brewing in Jax Beach, FL. The pour is a clear gold with a large, off-white head. Big lacing. Nose is American hops with small cheesiness and and butter. Taste is very astringent like oversteeped malt with tea tannic astringency. Major butter and biscuit components come through. Suddy palate. Pretty much overrun by the brewing flaw.
