COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A thirst-quenching American Pale Ale with a pleasurable hop aroma and taste. A chip off the same block as our Big Nose cypress knee wood spirit, Stump Knocker is a bit smaller, but he’s got the same hop headed attitude! Stump Knocker features late flavor and aroma hops, augmented with dry hopping and our unique hop filtering process as we transfer the fermented ale to conditioning tanks for carbonation and aging. These techniques produce a hop-centered ale with a crisp, balanced finish that will recharge your palate! A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, superb Nelson Sauvin hops, grape, white wine, lemons, superb. In mouth, a nice light quaffer of a pale ale with light biscuitty malts, very smooth hops. On tap at Oldsmar Tap House, Jan. 4 2011.

Fucken can @ home, courtesy of DrewFace. Cheers Flo Rida bro! Pours a deep burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Bready caramel, burnt malty, light butterscotch, caramelized sugary, bland hoppy aroma. Burnt, a touch smoky malty, roasted leaves, herbal light citrusy flavor. Tastes old and shitty.

Draft… Hazy, dark amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is mostly constructed of apricot and grapefruit although there is an additional, more subtle note of Pacific pine. Medium to full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor provides some very nice rindy bitterness pinned to an understated backbone of caramel malt. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Much better than expected.

Tap at the Mikosukee Root Cellar. Clear gold. Tropical fruit, citrus and grassy flavors. A nice beer with food.

Tap at Green Room Brewing in Jax Beach, FL. The pour is a clear gold with a large, off-white head. Big lacing. Nose is American hops with small cheesiness and and butter. Taste is very astringent like oversteeped malt with tea tannic astringency. Major butter and biscuit components come through. Suddy palate. Pretty much overrun by the brewing flaw.

Sample at Dunedin. This brew pours a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Hoppy aroma with notes of pine and citrus. medium body with flavors of piney hops, cracker-infused malt and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.
