COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light and refreshing, yet busting with flavor. We add Florida Tupelo honey to a traditional cream ale, and just a touch of hops, to update this American classic. This is what a light beer should bee! Tupelo honey is produced from the tupelo gum tree which grows profusely along the Chipola and Apalachicola rivers of northwest Florida. Here in the river swamps, bees are placed on elevated platforms along the river’s edge or on floating barges; the bees fan out through the surrounding Tupelo-blossom-laden swamps during April and May and return with their precious treasure. This river valley is the only place in the world where Tupelo Honey is produced commercially. Tupelo Honey is considered to be the finest quality honey in the world and is the only variety certified for varietal purity. It costs a bit more, but we think you will find that it produces a crisp light beer that rivals the finest lagers in the world. Ingredients: American barley malts and corn Florida Tupelo Honey New Zealand organic Hallertau hops Production Targets: Original Gravity: 14 Brix IBUs: 17.9 Alcohol By Volume: 5.9%

On tap at Whole Foods Orlado. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head and light aroma of grains. Taste is very light, not much taste but some grains, malt, and bread notes with a short finih. Not much flavor to enjoy

Not really a bad brew. Smells sweet, a little bit like Twinkies... The mouth feel is dry yet smooth, and with a subtle taste of honey in the background. Light and session-able, just not anything spectacular though.

Draft at the Swamp restaurant (Gainesville, FL). Pours a light golden color with a foamy white head. Slightly sweet and peppery aroma with a mixture of spices. The flavor is slightly sweet as well with a touch of grain. Very easy drinking.

CCB - tap. Pour was clear yellow with small but fluffy white head. Aromas were of light grain, corn, and a touch of honey. Flavors were similar with hints of corn and grain. Some light sweetness that fades away into a cereal grain finish. Medium carbonation. Meh...

På fat hos Cigar City. Ljusgul öl med vitt skum. Doft av bröd, lätt gräsighet och honungssötma. Samma i smaken med visst citrusinslag. Inte alls vad jag trodde att en Cream Ale skulle vara.

Beer pours a clear golden yellow color with thin white lacing. The aroma is slightly musky with some lactic notes. The palate is light yet creamy, also slightly musky. Overall very nice lighter style beer that would go down beautifully on a hot summer day. Not a cream ale drinker typically but I really dig this particular ale.

Draft at redlight. Pours a clear golden yellow color topped by a small, foamy white head that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of honey, cereal grain malts, corn, and some floral hops add bitterness. The flavor follows the same way the honey and cereal grain malts adding good sweetness to go with the floral hop bitterness. There is some light fruits and spice that peak through as well. A touch thin on the body with lively carbonation that leads to a crisp, dry finish. This is an easy drinking cream ale with a nice sweet flavor. Really easy to drink on those hot Florida days.

Tap @ CCB. Poured an extremely pale yellow color with a thin white head, looks odd. The nose is malt forward, with some earthy hops, light grain, and honey. Medium to thin body with fizzy carbonation and a slightly watery mouth feel. Flavor is mostly honey sweetness, some grassy hop notes as well as some more grain or cereal. Finishes with more honey.

Draft @ Oldsmar Tap House...poured one of the most intriguing colors I’ve ever seen, a pale pink-tinged golden color which was most enticing. Nose had hints of some mild grain with a touch of honey. Heavily carbonated which seemed to work quite well with the brew....flavors consisted of very light toasted grains, honey and some odd berry-like notes. Good, sessionable brew.
