COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light and refreshing, yet busting with flavor. We add Florida Tupelo honey to a traditional cream ale, and just a touch of hops, to update this American classic. This is what a light beer should bee! Tupelo honey is produced from the tupelo gum tree which grows profusely along the Chipola and Apalachicola rivers of northwest Florida. Here in the river swamps, bees are placed on elevated platforms along the river’s edge or on floating barges; the bees fan out through the surrounding Tupelo-blossom-laden swamps during April and May and return with their precious treasure. This river valley is the only place in the world where Tupelo Honey is produced commercially. Tupelo Honey is considered to be the finest quality honey in the world and is the only variety certified for varietal purity. It costs a bit more, but we think you will find that it produces a crisp light beer that rivals the finest lagers in the world. Ingredients: American barley malts and corn Florida Tupelo Honey New Zealand organic Hallertau hops Production Targets: Original Gravity: 14 Brix IBUs: 17.9 Alcohol By Volume: 5.9%

Draft. Surprised I haven’t rated this yet. Aroma is sourdough bread, light grassy/floral hops, honey. Flavor is light sweetness and bitterness with a good bit of lemon, biscuit, and honey in the finish. Palate is clean, medium carbonation, light body. An excellent session ale with a nice twist.

Marshmallowy, sweet, decent palate. I’d totally love this as a session ale. Sweet.

Clear golden with a wee tight white foamy cap. Nose is biscuity but also grassy with a semisweet crisp blonde grain tone. Flavor is grainy sweet with a touch of corn and very light grassy hops. Earthy and a bit biscuity throughout.

Draft @ FBGBF ’010. Pours just watery clear with a faint hue of yellow color supporting a thin bright white head. I don’t think I’ve seen a beer that was this close to looking like a glass of tap water. The aroma is very light with a sense of graininess, noble hops and malts. The taste is sweet and somewhat watery to start beginning with honey sweetness and then some graininess rolling into mild amounts of noble hoppiness around the edges. The above average carbonation helps give it a little bit of a flavor kick to help keep it from being too watery.

On draft at FBG Fest 2010. Pours almost transparent gold with a big white head. Nose is honey, slight malt, and some grain. Flavor is a bit watery with edges of carbonation lifting up some of the honey flavor. Interesting, but it is a mild cream ale that is decent overall.

Tap @ CCB. Poured an extremely pale yellow color with a thin white head, looks odd. The nose is malt forward, with some earthy hops, light grain, and honey. Medium to thin body with fizzy carbonation and a slightly watery mouth feel. Flavor is mostly honey sweetness, some grassy hop notes as well as some more grain or cereal. Finishes with more honey.

Yellow, mostly clear, nice dense white head. Clean, sightly corny aroma. Maybe a little grassy, was well. Dryish palate, some corn, some grass. Not bad.

Tallahassee, Fl - Momo’s Pizza - on tap. Pours alight golden with little to no head. Brief hint of mint and fruit cocktail aroma. Flavor is mellow with some pears. light graininess, a hint of fruit cocktail and a hint of honey in the back end. Mouthfeel has a nice bit of spritziness to it which sits nice.
