Tap at Marciero. This is a "Belgium" IPA. i.e. uses Belgium yeast I believe. Aroma: Orange and mikan, mikan blossom, pear, grain, light ginger note, Palate: Medium-Full bodied Flavor: Gentle mikan, pear, yeast, light-medium ginger bitterness that gains some intensity. Long grainy finish. Comment: Complete flavor and mouthfeel. A superb beer. 39+ points.

Draught at Yellow Ape Craft. Big fruity, yeasty nose, with pears and peaches. Hazy amber color. Well-hopped from the start, fermented fruit and such well-integrated bitterness. Medium body, great mouthfeel. As balanced as can be.

Quite a yeasty nose. Caramel malt flavor, fruity hops, peppery finish. The belgian twist on a fruity IPA is interesting, but yeast gets quite dry on the palate and covers the hoppiness too much.

B-IPA meaning BELGIAN IPA rather than black IPA... On tap at Bungalow. It pours a cloudy light gold.kild Belgian spicy notes with lots of citrusy hop character in the bouquet. Full bodied, smooth, sweet. Almost candiesh in the flavor, the spices & the hops merge into a tasty cake like sweetness. Not so bitter, very tasty & interesting. It has definite clove notes with a sharp finish. Those clove notes re quite prominent leading me to feel this is more of a hoppy weizen than a Belgian IPA, damn good though.

Keg at pub Edo. Amber orange cloudy colour small beige head. Aroma Belgian yeast, herbal bit of fruit, berries, some orange. Taste fruity orange bit of bitterness. Quite malty too. Bit of saison taste but bit more full on. Not bad. Best so far.

No head when finally served. Hazy opaque golden body. Fruity Belgian yeast aroma with pineapple notes. Dry-sweet vaguely funky pineapple taste with mealy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish strawberry and kiwi aftertaste with resiny notes. Nice, subtle, and flavours well integrated. (0.25l draft at Popeye, Tokyo. Menu has it as "Swan Lake Belgian IPA Good", at 7%.)

On tap at Popeye as Swan Lake Belgian IPA. Hazy golden with a frothy head. Piney hop aroma. Medium bitterness, complex hoppiness blending with sweet malts. Interesting.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 Draught at Eni-bru. Very cloudy yellow-gold color with a very bubbly, thin head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, golden malt. Fruity, with some citrus and pepper. Interesting flavor: fruity, strong hops, ok malt. Belgian yeast fruitiness: with grapefruit and citrus. Long bitter finish. interesting and original, though maybe slightly confused. I like it.
