Appears a dark copper toned amber with a frothy, off-white head that slowly fades away. Tons of lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is sweet, malty, grainy, with caramel, & toffee notes.
Taste is of the aromas with a light cocoa dusting that makes the brew a bit more interesting.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, sweet, and balanced. DocLock (4075), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 6, 2005 Draft at PA Ren. Fair. Poured dark amber with minimal head. Aroma of hops, caramel malt, and citrus. The taste was very malty with a solid hop presence. Medium palate. More hops as it warms. This one is very quaffable and crisp.
