COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Created in Texas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a refreshing light-bodied American Ale with the flavor of fresh jalapeno peppers without being excessive in heat and providing a nice balanced finish. Great paired with our gourmet tacos

Randomly on tap at a local pizza place in Hartland. This or spotted cow - shrug? Pours au unclear golden yellow with a white head. Some lacing. Aroma is pretty much "jalapeno", solidly stated, without being "knock you over". There is some pale maltiness. The taste is the same. Jalapenos, without flashy jalapeno spicyness. Not very sweet or fruity. Not vegetal at all, beyond the consistency of the jalapeno flavor. It did what it did, and it did it very well and consistently. It was better than spotted cow!

Growler, than Wyre! Pours a deep golden, fairly clear. Very little head but just enough carbonation to keep it enjoyable. Aroma is rich grilled/smoked jalapenos. Some sweetness there too but mostly a grilled pepper thing going on which is really, really nice. Taste is mild grilled jalapenos, some sweetness and bready notes at the end. No heat in the pour I had but others said it was faint. Overall, it’s not as good as Jaipur Jalapeño Ale but it is probably the next best thing I’ve tried. I’d order this at the brewery again.

hazy orangish yellow with a very small head that ran away quickly. Aroma of sweet jalapeno meat. Reminds me of jalapeno jam my great aunt used to make, which I loved. Flavor is similar, very little heat. I was actually hoping for just a touch more as I remember this being a bit hotter. Little carbonation on this one. Seems just a touch old, but still very enjoyable.

Sampled on draught at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale colored brew with an excellent sized off-white head that has some good lacing and retention. Aroma of sweet creamed corn, bell peppers and a hint of spice. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of multi-grain malt, mildly spicy jalapeno and green bell peppers with a hint of golden grain malt. Finish is not too spicy. After taste has both green pepper and golden grain malt without too much fire spice.

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Pale yellow with a receding thin white head. Aroma of jalapenos, pepper rind, middle-of-the road malt and mild hops. Taste of peppers complete with the peel and seeds, sweet malt and spices. Subtle spices make it drinkable, but in a one trick pony kind of way.

On tap at Vintage, pours a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head, the aroma has a slight touch of pepper with a sweet touch as well, the flavor has a sweet front end with a slight peppery finish, in my opinion I wish it turned up the heat just a little bit more, seems really toned down on the flavor.

Straw gold pour with extreme haze. Light green pepper aroma with some sweet, pale malts. Even-flavored jalapeno/green pepper flavor to a base pale malt ale. Heat builds only slightly with further drinking. Definitely focuses more on the flavor and not the heat/acidity that get in other pepper beers. Makes this very easy to drink, yet somewhat complex in flavor. Again, at 4%, a very good session beer.
