COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
M.E.C.O. is short for main engine cutoff. A traditional Hefeweissen with a slight twist. We’ve added a hint of fresh ginger to tantalize your palette and provide our own interpretation of a great summer beer.

Tap at Vintage. Unfiltered yellow-orange. Oily white head. Mellow and undercarbonated. lacks zest. Really quite uninspired, like a ginger version of the Jalapeno beer.

Skyview (5109) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 5, 2013
On draught at the Sweet Mullets brewery’s taproom, just west of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some excellent retention and extra lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some pickled ginger, light banana and some very faint clove. Taste is light bodied, with plenty of hefe flavors including banana notes, clove, golden grain malt with wheat and, of course ginger. Finish is quite smooth and semi-sweet with a hint of tart fruit with an excellent balance aftertaste of banana yeast, clove and ginger.

On tap at Sweet Mullets. Pale golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is mild with ginger, banana and spices. Taste is on the milder end and the ginger accents the banana, clove and yeast nicely.

cbfobes (2149) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 8, 2012
On tap at the brewery, was really surprised to see the abv at 3.9% because it had a ton of flavor, pours a clear yellow with aroma of sweet grain and some fruit, the flavor has a nice amount of banana mixed in with the spices in the finish, pretty darn good.

Pale, hazy gold with some light amber highlights. Soft banana hints, sweet wheat malt. Flavor is lightly acidic apple and pear notes, some banana, soft spice and clove. Very flavorful at 3.9%. Nice crisp, tart finish. Excellent session beer.
