Enjoyed at GTMW 2012. Pours a medium brown with a medium white head. The smell is of bourbon but the taste is clover, hops and malt with a bourbon aftertaste.

On tap at Sweet Mullets brewpub. Murky deep amber with a frothy lacy tan topper. Aroma of grains, light nuts, mild caramel and wheat. Taste of caramel, wild wheat, mild nuts with a sweet nutty finish. Strange but good.

On tap at brewery. Deep amber-red in color. Biscuity toasted malt sweetness, mild hop nose. Unique flavor profile. Toasted malt, bread, round earthy sweetness, light nutty/fruity finish. Light background herbal hops to match. Medium body. Another easy drinker.

Sampled on draught at the Sweet Mullets brewery in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear brownish copper colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of cheddar cheese, wild floral hops, dark pitted fruits and a touch of breakfast cereal. Taste is medium bodied and where the buckwheat floral really shines. Malty, floral and a touch of multi-grain cereal with touch of touch of dried molasses. Finish is well-balanced, some short lived mild bitterness with a toasted multi-grain malt aftertaste. Try this with some toasted wheat bread with a little buckwheat honey. These two will do great together.
