Bottle courtesy of drowland. Clear light orange appearance. Some musty notes. Sweet hops show up later on. Taste is dry bitter hops with soil and old elements. Bitter finish.

Pours golden with 1/2 inch lacing, thick foamy white head. Nose is sugary and mildly citric, grapefruit and lemon. Sweet caramel backbone with some bubblegum. Dry and moderate bitter. Slight citrus flavor. Great after, mildly lingering, just sticky enough to make me notice. Drinkable. A very nice pale ale that I can’t unfortunately get around here. . .

A nice translucent golden amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, light malt with faint hops. In mouth, a watered down pale ale with faint malt and hops, short in mouth, so-so. On tap at SweetWater Atlanta Airport, Dec. 29 2009.

Pours crystal clear pale gold with a thick frothy white head. Aroma- piney and citrus hops, light malt. Taste is a good balance of bitter hops but sweet floral and citrus hops dominate with some grain coming through also. Finish is slightly bitter and metallic but short. Medium light body, crisp carbonation.

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet with a hint of pine hops and malt. Taste is sweet at first with a slightly bitter hops aftertaste that hits you in the back of the throat. Good beer. Goes down smooth.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a rather large, frothy white head. Lacing is moderate. Aromas of spruce, floral, leaves, and ginger. Palate is very smooth with a crisp finish that leaves a nice film in your mouth. Flavors of floral and citrus with a nice hay finish. Very good beer - wish I could purchase it in Virginia!
