I would say that there is nothing "west coast" about this beer. The aroma and flavor are dominated by the Munich malt. The hops are certainly second fiddle here, and come off more floral than the typical citrus. I guess overall I like that beer, but its just not what I was expecting. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Pours a dark yellow with small white head.Has a sweet malty hop aroma.Sweet malt makes up most of the flavor with a subtile hop note followed by nice bitter ending. This brew is pretty watery, but has a nice flavor. This could be a all nite drinker brew. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Golden in color with light foam. The aroma is intense and very full for a PA which is probably why i enjoy it so much when i cant get an IPA at the bar. Great hoppy and light beer. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 18, 2007 I also sampled this while down in Atlanta. I have to say this is a really great pale ale. Pours a darker golden color with a nice prickly head. This stuff smells fairly sweet actually with the hops taking a backseat on the nose. Taste is a whole different story! This beer is sticky, sweet, citrus, and just hoppy enough to give a crisp kick. Excellent stuff and if I could get it more easily I might drink this from time to time over SN Pale Ale. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2007 12oz bottle (thanks to jrob_21) poured a clear pale/gold color with almost no head. Aroma was sweet malt and not that much of a hop nose. Taste was well rounded with a good bitterness and malt profile. Could use more carbonation. kyzr (1132), Belgrade, Montana, USA
