Draft at The Flying Saucer, Nashville. Pale amber with a white head. Heavy lacing. Aroma of lemon, citrus, and caramel malt. Similar taste. Has a solid malty base. Okay.

There’s not too much to the aroma, though it does seem crisp. The head is thready and white, thinning quickly, but not disappearing completely. The body is slightly foggy and flowery-yellow. The taste is the best thing about it. It’s reminiscent of Half Acres’ Daisy Cutter, though a bit more citrus in nature. Quite good. The palate is stung with carbonation, though not too much, and a thin oiliness is left behind. This would make a great session beer.

Bottle, low foam, no lacing to speak of. Good example of the style. Worthy if not exemplary.

Nice orangey medium copper with haze and suspended particulates. Aroma of biscuit malts, slight pine, grass, and a little dank (just a touch of cat pee.) Refreshing mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Pretty light malt bill with some orange and hints of pepper on finish.

Love the golden color though the finish leaves me wanting a little bit more. Finished just a touch flat ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy gold with tons of white head and lace. Aroma was grassy, light pine trees with some malt. Taste was grass, lemon, slightly spicey. I got more malt sweetness than others but there was a light pine hop presence. Pretty good, would love this in the summer.

AROMA: Very grassy hops, plenty of citrus too. Clean, inviting. Malt presence is nice. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Slightly hazy gold hue; bubbly. Large white foam with good retention. 3/3

FLAVOR: Huge hop presence of grapefruit and grass. Very bitter, but kinda juicy. Moderate malt presence to give it some balance. 17/20

MOUTHFEEL: A bit lighter in body than expected. Somewhat undercarbed. Creamy texture. Smooth. 3/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very tasty and interesting. Very hoppy for the style; This could pass for an IPA if needed. 8/10

[On tap at BHM airport Holiday Inn] Slightly spicy, pine, apricot and grapefruit aroma with some dried fruit and caramel specialty malt in the background. Hazy copper under, lacy white wisps and a collar of large bubbles. Flavour is fairly sweet base malt with some peppery phenolics and faint, sherry-like accents that are a spicy combination. Perhaps this keg has been sitting around for some time. Bitterness is assertive and leads to a low astringency. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth start, crisp, carbonic finish.
