Can from dq mini mart. Straight out the can. Aroma of malt and hop, not too bad. Tastes horrible little to no hop notes over powered by malt and metal taste. WTF silver eagle distributors.

Pale yellow, light white head. Strong orange citrus nose, light tropical fruit, some pine resin. A bit of biscuity malt, honey. A good bit of bitterness, but mostly malty. Lighter body, decent amount of carbonation, some acidity. Very clean. Fine.

12 oz. bottle pours a clear golden orange with moderate white head and not much lacing. Aroma is not pungent, but has floral hops, grains and orange rind. Taste is slightly sweet at first with hoppy bitterness and slight spiciness coming out a bit in the finish. Body is light to medium with average carbonation Very easliy drinkable with a crisp mouthfeel. Iím glad I finally got to try a Georgia beer, but this one doesnít stand out in any way, good or bad.

Bottle. Pous a clear gold with a high, mixed-grain, just off-white head with lace. Nose is not very pungent -- that big pillowy head dampens it -- but what there is is orange and floral notes. Some hops bite up front followed by Sunny Delight orange sweetness behind. A little hard cheese umami follows. Low carbonation. Finish is really brief and mostly unremarkable. This is OK, but Iíve had better.

12oz bottle. Pours amber with a foamy off white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma is of hops, malt, grass, and pine. Taste is of floral hops, pine, and grass. Has a lingering, bitter hop taste. Itís so very grassy. Medium fizzy mouthfeel. Has a decent taste and it drinks easy. Nothing that will blow you away, but it drinks real easy.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom. Pours golden/ amber with a white head. Aroma of lemon grass and malt.. Taste is much lighter than I would have guessed from the aroma., Light hops, a bit sweet, but overall a sessionable Pale. Light body, light carbonation.

Keep coming back to see if there's something I'm missing but the 402 IPA just doesn't stand out for me. I would call it a competent, middle it the road IPA that is more crisp, and less bitter than others in this niche, but lacking other qualities that might set it apart.

4/19/15 (Bottle) - Nice golden brown pour, with a generous white pillow head and decent carbonation. Floral aroma with strong hops scent. Taste is bitter and pleasant, distinct hops with a pine and citrus taste. Very dry going down. Overall very good EPA.

Draft. Clear golden color with a small white head. It had minimal aroma but strong hoppy flavor.
