Think both that they have a different thing in mind when it comes to 420 and that I’m one spoiled guy. Not only are there more and more good beers coming into Texas, but I get this one kindly hand delivered by a good friend and I have the audacity to pick it apart. Not really too much to quibble over as it IS good. I just expected there to be somewhat more aggressive hops. There are hops and probably more than my abused tongue even knows. Tad on the sweet side, but look at the brewery name fer goodness.

pours a kind of cloudy golden/orange color with a decent head and good amount of lacing. Aroma is moderately hoppy with hints of fruits and flowers. Very light floral flavor with slight hints of hops in the flavor as well. Pretty good light summer beer! Definitely one i could drink three or four of in a sitting.

Pours with an orange-gold body topped by a medium thick to thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet, fruity and floral with a nice subtle hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied, smooth and crisp.

My session beer of choice. Copper color, mild hop aroma, nice balance with malt and hops and carbonation all making nice with each other. This is the beer that you go-to when you get home from work, need a drink with dinner, offer friends and family, etc. It’s the beer that makes Atlanta a legit brewing town.

Pours a clear and bright gold pale with a nice but dissipating head and some lacing. Sweet malt and floral notes in the aroma. Great malt profile with a some fruitiness and some citric bitterness and flavor for balance. Good pale.

Another bonus beer from goldtwins. Bottled. Pours a clear dirty yellow color- almost the same color as ginger ale. Aromas of hops and again, jsut like with the Sweetwater IPA, I’m smelling yeast as well. Malty caramel flavor with decent a hop spice. Candy-like dry finish. Great beer!

Sampled from bottle, a gift from Staleyiv. 420 pours a brilliant true gold with a lasting white head and intricate lacing. A very attractive and inviting beer. Its aroma is floral with a hard-candy-like sweetness. Flavor is balanced with caramel malts, plums and more spicy, floral hops. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and easily drinkable. A very good beer.

Golden and less hazy than the IPA. Sticky, foamy head. Fairly sweet on the malt side with a good amount of hops bitterness. Somewhat dry finish but very crisp. Well-rounded and enjoyable.

Aroma, hoppy freshness. Pours golden orange, with a big fluffy head. Very clean hop crisp up front, followed by mellow maltiness. Great drinking beer!
