3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Sweetwater. Piney citrus hop aroma. Golden with a small white head. Thin body, some malt flavor, but this one is mainly the earthy C hops. Pretty generic pale ale, but a good example of the style.

Pours tan/brown with a small white head. Aroma is earthy hops. Taste is earthy as well with a sharp hop profile. This beer tasted "dirty." A good dirty though. Very unique, i would have it again.

12oz bottle - age unknown. Amber color with some malty and bready aroma, and some floral hop. Flavor was again malty, not very much going on with the hops tho. Also quite a bit of breadiness / biscuitiness (damn am I turning into BeerCellar2?) Alright beer, but not my favorite.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light floral and fruity hops, biscuity malt in aroma. Clear amber color, decent off-white head. Light malty aroma, moderate fruitiness, even balance. Medium body. Lacks a strong American hop presence for an APA, reminded me more of an ESB, noce easy drinking summer beer.

Bottle from Goldtwins. Light to medium amber in color and clear. Scant white head forms, quickly fading into a film on the surface. No lacing. Aroma is predominantly malt, light and a bit sweet. Lighter bodied. Good carbonation. Nice hop balance to counter the caramel malt flavor. Quite nice, not an all star but nothing to scoff at.

Pours a crystal clear pale copper with a thin ivory head. Very lacy. Grassy pale malt and lightly citrusy hops in the nose.
Crispy in the mouth. Persistent bitterness surrounded by a crisp grassy malt. Straightforward beer, that’s about all it’s got. Tasty though. Crisp mouth and refreshing. A decent pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden color with a small head. Initial aroma reminded me of the Terrapin Rye Ale, and the flavor did as well. Nice finish. Would have liked it with a bit more bitter. I will have it again. (actually 5 more times!)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bottle. Honey brown color with a quickly dissapearing white head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Very good taste for a pale ale. Hops and grains are abundant but the beer is still very drinkable. A fantastic session beer that doesn’t sacrafice flavor.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
medium golden-brown color, small white head. very sweet aroma. I was impressed by how much I could actually SMELL this beer. Perhaps it was just served slightly warmer than normal, but dang... anyway... citrusy hops... aren’t cascade hops the same as what’s in Flying Dog Am. Pale Ale? I think so. You can taste the similarity. Very nice, medium-bodied, slightly fizzy mouth feel. Good stuff.
