Sampled from bottle, a gift from Staleyiv. 420 pours a brilliant true gold with a lasting white head and intricate lacing. A very attractive and inviting beer. Its aroma is floral with a hard-candy-like sweetness. Flavor is balanced with caramel malts, plums and more spicy, floral hops. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and easily drinkable. A very good beer.

Golden and less hazy than the IPA. Sticky, foamy head. Fairly sweet on the malt side with a good amount of hops bitterness. Somewhat dry finish but very crisp. Well-rounded and enjoyable.

Aroma, hoppy freshness. Pours golden orange, with a big fluffy head. Very clean hop crisp up front, followed by mellow maltiness. Great drinking beer!

Orange gold color with a small white head. Cascade family hop aromatics with some sweet malt tones. Crisp hop character with some maltiness underneath. Some resin bitterness in the finish. A lingering buttery aftertaste begins to manifest at higher temps/ Mouthfeel is medium light and somewhat chewy.

Yellow, clear and slightly light brown in color. Head is thick, though not so much as a stout, it dissipates very quickly and leaves almost no lacing on the glass. Nose is slightly hoppy, but being extra pale is definatly noted. Palate is bitter at the back of the tongue, it arrives late and dissipates quickly. Flavor is of suttle hops, intense at its peak, but not unbearable. Sweet flavor just barely surfaces after the hops fade. Mouthfeel is light and airy, it goes down without to much notice of carbonation. A good brew, and very much on key as an extra pale ale. A little hoppy for my taste, but hopheads will find it as a light flavored ale.

Draft at Taco Mac in Chattanooga. Clear dark amber with a moderate white head that diminished slowly. Good hoppy aroma. Medium body. Full flavor of hops with moderate bitter finish. Good refreshing draft.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2005 Decent local Atlanta brew. A good crisp taste inittially but a bit of an aftertaste. Must but drank very cold. Does not stand up well to warmer temperatures

Low expectation.... Fairly high reward. poors with a light brown/amber color. Small head, but lasted awhile. smooth hoppy start, sweat caramel middle, with a refreshingly smooth slightly hoppy finish. little to no aftertaste. The palate is good, coats your mouth. thick and chewey...
