Pours a nice clear light amber with a 3-finger white pillowy head that clumps and leaves good lacing as you drink. Aroma is almost exclusively earthy and floral hops. Taste is sweet, with hops coming through to a medium bitter finish. A bit watery and on the simple side, but solid.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is hop driven. The taste is bitter hops. A solid beer.

BBD 5/29/16. Almost clear, light cloudiness, golden pour with a touch of amber and garnet. Quite outstanding head volume, world class lacing and retention. Very light nose of mixed citrus with a touch of spice. With a name of 420, one would expect a dank nose. This one is not. Light body that has a smooth element. Good carbonation for the body with just enough mid effervescence and a prickly finish. The flavor profile is average - not bad, but not quite solid either. Intensity, complexity and balance are adequate resulting in a tasty pale ale but nothing really pops. It begins with a blended hop flavor that has subtle citrus notes then flows to a very mildly bittered middle. A hint of sweetness arrives to balance an equally weak bitterness. The finish is a slow fade of light hop flavor and bitterness.

Pours a golden yellow with fluffy head. Aromas of fruity hops and some citrus peel. Flavors of light hops, a little astringent.

Descent hop aroma with light malt backing. Mix of piney and citrus hops. Light overall but good balance of malt and hops. Not bad at all for an all around flavorful lighter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Light citrus aroma. Buttery, dry and slightly sweet. Not bad but it doesn’t fire the imagination.

There’s not too much to the aroma, though it does seem crisp. The head is thready and white, thinning quickly, but not disappearing completely. The body is slightly foggy and flowery-yellow. The taste is the best thing about it. It’s reminiscent of Half Acres’ Daisy Cutter, though a bit more citrus in nature. Quite good. The palate is stung with carbonation, though not too much, and a thin oiliness is left behind. This would make a great session beer.
