Pours a nice clear light amber with a 3-finger white pillowy head that clumps and leaves good lacing as you drink. Aroma is almost exclusively earthy and floral hops. Taste is sweet, with hops coming through to a medium bitter finish. A bit watery and on the simple side, but solid.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Caramel and a slightly nutty aroma come through with some grapefruit notes. The beer has a white soapy head that leaves a messy layer along with a medium thick ring above a mostly clear honey colored beer. The taste is a nice balance between medium bitter and sweet. The medium bodied beer has a light, fluffy carbonation, and a creamy texture. It finishes with a grassy and caramel flavor as well as some citrus. A clean, resin-esque quality makes up the aftertaste.

Notes of pine, citrus/grapefruit, somewhat bitter hops, and malty finish. Decent but not great.

Dull yellow-bronze color. Hazy. Pretty heavy on the malt. Centennial hops, light citrus, wheat, pine. Pretty light body. Bitter finish. Good carbonation. I dig the chewy texture to it. It’s actually a rather harsh beer. I couldn’t drink too many of these.

BOTTLE 355CL BB June 2014. Look: hazy golden-amber, light beige, frothy head with poor retention. Aroma: light caramel, watery, notes of salted dry fish, no hops at all! Taste: caramel sweetness, watery in the middle, stale malts, light bitterness.

Looks like it really shows its age.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Pine and citrus with a little malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malt than I expected.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice light hazy orange color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dies within less than 45 seconds. The lacing left a little bit to be desired. The smell had a nice conglomeration of bittersweet hops to sweet malts. The taste was mainly bittersweet all the way through. On the palate, this one sat at/about a light to medium and showed a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed right on for the style and for me. Overall, I say this was a good American Pale Ale well worthy of having again.
