Bottle. Smells fruity and a little woody. Pours translucent golden with a thin off white head. Taste follows the more grassy, woody part of the smell but is very mild and agreeable. Overall I find this pale ale very enjoyable, although I expected a little more complexity on the palate.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with white head. Aroma is piney and some grass. Taste is mild to moderately bitter with a mild sweet malt backbone. Flavors of pine, floral, crackers, caramel, earthy. Overall average to above average for style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty decent pale ale. Sampler 12-pack from the Food Lion in Corolla. Golden color with a very ample, sticky and lacing off-white head. The nose features some crisp and bitter hops, along with some bready malt. The flavors are pretty smooth, with plenty of spicy and bitter hops. The body is well balanced with some caramel malt and a slight bready yeasty flavor.

Sampled from a bottle, this ale had a hazy orange pour with some particles, and gave a two finger lasting white cover that receded a bit, it left nice spots and partial rings of lacing on the glass, the nose had aromas of orange, grapefruit citrus and floral hops with toasted malt, a little bread, there was malt and sugar candy sweetness, the flavors were spice and citrus hops with light toasted malt, a bit of bread and some malt sweetness, the finish had a good hop bitterness (medium or so) for a pale ale beer, hops lingered on the tongue with just a little malt afterwards, the mouth feel was light, creamy and had average to lively carbonation, the nose was pretty hoppy, fruity citrusy and the malt was almost a match for it, it was sweeter on the nose than the mouth, the flavor was pretty much the same as the nose, hoppy, easy to drink and a nice thirst quencher.

Picked up a bottle from the camp store while camping in Tennessee. I guess this is very popular in this part of the country. Nice aroma and easy drinking. Was expecting a little more flavor from this. Would get this again, but it is nothing spectacular.

Thanks to iNBe. Reminds me of the early days of microbrews. Not too hoppy and not a big beer, but a great every day ale. Serving: Bottle

A good go to pale ale. I always end up with this at mellow mushroom. Pairs great with pizza. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to homer321. There is a firm caramel malt aroma, a nice citrus and pine hop nose. The flavor is malty with a balancing hop character. Light spicy note, peppery.

served in pint glass (from notes). A - clear amber with ample off-white head Aroma of mild piney hops. Tastes a bit better than it smells. Some malt sweetness hits the tongue initially, but there’s plenty of hop bitterness right after and in aftertaste. M= crisp; medium body and carbonation.

Nice piney, citrus, and hoppy aroma. Tingling feeling on the tongue as it goes in and smooth as it goes down.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured hazy, amber in color, nice foamy head and some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit and caramel. Earthy taste, malty, bitter and hoppy. Drinkable and enjoyable; pretty decent.
