BigMilly8 (351), Holiday, Florida, USA Mar 10, 2008 From bottle : Pours a clear carbonated medium gold color, with a finger of white foamy head, with nice lacing. My nose is a tad bit stuffy right now, but i can still smell tons of big citrus hops coming out of this thing. Some malt backbone. Taste is nice, hoppy with a balance of malt. It gets a little thin a watery toward the end, that would be my only complaint. Medium body through the first part, with a sticky palate, and a faint hop aftertaste. Decent APA.
ethan (2), , Tennessee, USA does not count Jul 17, 2008 Not bad. Light and pale. Lagerish. Cheap. Little aftertaste. Enough bite, but very light and airy. Not a strong hop nor very crispy. For an 8 dollar 6-pack, it’s barely making the grade. Breworthy (7), USA does not count Jul 8, 2008 The aroma is quite excellent, as the complexities of the spicy hop aroma come through to balance out the smell of the malt.
The appearance is a little too clear for my tastes, that is for the style. Although it is a fine looking beer with excellent retention.
The flavor is quite nice, full hop flavor, but not overboard, placing it well within the pale category without over-stepping its bounds. Clean finish, despite its higher IBU.
This pale sits well on your palate, but is a bit on the heavy side. Nice effervescence.
Overall, the beer is quite good. I would recommend this pale and think it is great that I was able to pick one up in Nashville. If you keep making more beer like this, please keep branching out of Atlanta, Sweetwater. derekbang (73), Indiana, USA Jul 7, 2008 I couldn’t bring myself to drink all of this. SweetWATER is appropriate because it seemed more like water than beer. Little flavor and just really watery. jzzbassman (665), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Jul 7, 2008 Draft, very light pour. Hoppy would really be descriptive most in the aroma. Flavor has a nice malt character with a longer than usual sweet finish. Hints of popcorn Butters (263), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 5, 2008 On draft at the Sweetwater Taphouse in the Atlanta International Airport. Clear golden pour. Great floral hop nose. Piney hop resin flavor. Hop bitter finish.
