Brew #3 from the tacklebox. IPA for last. [A] Somewhat stale, kind of lake water caramel primarily. Citrusy hops present. Pale malts are doughy, and compliment the caramel. Astringent graininess. [A] Gold. [F] Orangey citrus. Big, malty caramel backbone. Slightly English-y. Not as big a hop bite on end as most APAs I’ve enjoyed. Caramel finsh. [P] Another nicely drinkable brew. Wonderful mouth. Just not as hopped up as I’d prefer. [O] From the tacklebox, I’m pretty disappointed to say the fruit beer has been my fave so far. The Sch’Wheat and this were average. Something I would grab over a Sam Adams if nothing else were available. On the other hand, I’m sure this would go great with some chronic.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread and light earthiness with a crisp dry finish.

Drank some cans of this at Andrew’s lake house last month - supplied by Dubra, thanks. Delicious pale ale, light and sessionable but packs floral and flavorful hop profile. A little on the bitter side after a couple but could be way worse.

On tap at Carolina Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach. A light copper color. Good overall balance and flavor. Decent with a meal, but otherwise OK.

Love the label, makes one expect to find this beer in a tackle box among other necessities for a great fishing trip, while it might not help attract fish it would be a great beer to enjoy while waiting for the fish to bite! pours a hazy gold with a thick foamy white head that pleasantly lingers thru out the entire drinking experience. has a great aroma of wheatgrass and saffron. provides a mild bitterness with a touch of sweetness. notes of pine, wheat crackers and a tiny bit of dirt. definitely a pleasant experience which could only be improved by partaking of numerous bottles of this fine beverage while seated in the middle of a row boat on a small lake nestled somewhere in the mountains.

Pretty decent pale ale. Sampler 12-pack from the Food Lion in Corolla. Golden color with a very ample, sticky and lacing off-white head. The nose features some crisp and bitter hops, along with some bready malt. The flavors are pretty smooth, with plenty of spicy and bitter hops. The body is well balanced with some caramel malt and a slight bready yeasty flavor.

Sampled from a bottle, this ale had a hazy orange pour with some particles, and gave a two finger lasting white cover that receded a bit, it left nice spots and partial rings of lacing on the glass, the nose had aromas of orange, grapefruit citrus and floral hops with toasted malt, a little bread, there was malt and sugar candy sweetness, the flavors were spice and citrus hops with light toasted malt, a bit of bread and some malt sweetness, the finish had a good hop bitterness (medium or so) for a pale ale beer, hops lingered on the tongue with just a little malt afterwards, the mouth feel was light, creamy and had average to lively carbonation, the nose was pretty hoppy, fruity citrusy and the malt was almost a match for it, it was sweeter on the nose than the mouth, the flavor was pretty much the same as the nose, hoppy, easy to drink and a nice thirst quencher.
