A strong nose of blueberries let you know what you are in for before even putting this beer to your tastebuds. A refreshing beer with the taste of fresh blueberries makes you love this beer on a hot day.

This pours a clear, light amber color with a slight, off-white head. The aroma is very grassy and grainy. The taste is fairly decent for its style as itís light in body and flavor. Itís perhaps a little thinner than I would like, but than again it is made for a warmer climate than where I am from. Hints of grass and grains in the flavor. Finishes pretty clean with just the slightest hint of blueberries.

Nice try for a fruit beer, the blueberries in this one arent too overly done but still enough to keep me from drinking this again. Lighter bodied and less offensive than other fruit beers and not overly difficult to drink but ones enough for a long time.

Bottled. Drank in a 12oz flute. Aroma is fruity and pleasant, but doesnít remind me of blueberries to much. Pours with little head. Itís a pale straw color with slow carbonation. Very clear. Blueberries are very pronounced in the first sip. Very sweet. Overall not super great but one of the best fruit beers Iíve had.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Village Wine & Spirits in Athens. Light fruit juice aroma. Light hazy pale yellow, slow carb rising. Super mild fruit initial / blueberries (or something) emerge in mid / final is perfumey and soapy. Thin-medium body. Uh-uh. Barely enough fruit to smell or taste, but enough to give it a slightly cloying perfume finish.

Not bad...not great...pours yellow without much of a head...and has a sweet flavor. They are right when they say breakfast beer as it reminds me of fruity pebbles...

Drank right out of the bottle. Not much fruit in the smell but the first swig is unsweetened blueberries, I think. Yes, typical fruit beer sensations on the palate. Not sweet at all, just unsweetened blueberry Kool aid. Yes, fairly typical fruit beer, nothing special going on here except maybe a little blueberry. Should I say it seems to be a tad artificial, even tho it says fresh blueberries? Well, probably not. Looks like any other pale beer.

The smell is quite powerful, but the taste is much more subtle. A great use of fruit and beer, it tastes like drinking blueberry pancakes.
