For a Blueberry beer is was extremely good. I enjoyed every last drop of it. It was interesting to find out that it was Freddy and Kevin’s first beer. Two thumbs up.

Blueberry taste is very subtle but it is very powerful in the aroma. So much so that it is kind of off putting. Maybe be better on a warm summer day instead of this december night.

5/2/2010. Sampled at the brewery. Straw yellow with a white head. Definitely blueberry aromas. Malt and light hops too, but mostly just blueberry. Summer beer maybe?

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle best by three weeks ago, oh no... - pours slightly unfiltered gold with big bubbled white head. Ukraine can suck it. Nose is very berry. Sweet with a wheat finish: swheat. Easy to drink. Fruity. I probably wouldn’t drink more than five in a row, unless I never want to ever drink this ever again, ever.

Poured from a bottle. Couldn’t tell of any hop presence, but a nice Blueberry taste. I could see drinking this as a summer bear.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The appearance is decent with a nice golden yellow color with a decent amount of white foamy head, great carbonation, but no lacing. The smell is a great smell of blueberries that lingered well but wasn’t too sweet which was nice. The taste was decent with good amount of blueberries and some mild bitterness, but you don’t really getting any wheat flavoring. The mouthfeel was just okay as it left a mild bitterness in the mouth but that was it. Overall, this is a pretty good blueberry beer and not that I am huge fruit beer fan this one was decent.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
SweetWater Blue has a thin, white head, which fizzes right away, no lacing, and a mostly clear, golden appearance, with an enormous amount of white powdery sediment suspended throughout. The aroma is of blueberries, with an underlying bread smell. Taste is of blueberry, white bread, sweetness, and a slight bitter note. Mouthfeel is medium, and SweetWater Blue finishes semi-dry, refreshing, fruity, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is good. RJT

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours yellow. Aroma is wheat, blueberries, and some 2 row. Blueberries are well-pronounced in the aroma. Flavor is light all around with no flavors standing out. Decent.

On tap at Canoe at Sweetwater sponsored event.
Slightly hazy deep golden with very little head.
Fine aroma features blueberry: think fine fresh preserves.some wheat and barley malt base too.the flavor has good balance, with prominent blueberry but a solid malt base.only lightly sweet with a good bit of tartness.
Medium-light body with near medium carbonation.
