COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Up next, we are crossing borders and boundaries with the latest Dank Tank creation - Border Hopper, with a little help from their friend, SeŮor Dank, who left his full bodied wife, Lupa, and their eight screaming babies in search of the freshest hop harvest in the land and the promise fields of Buford Highway. His censored journey began in the hop fields of Yakima where he scored some of the stickiest, freshest green hops, found a farmerís daughter, and ended up in Atlanta where he deals his stash to the boys at SweetWater to create this highly aggressive, censored, and muy fresh double India pale ale. This brew is pushing the envelope as our newest addition to the series of rarely released, experimental beers. The double IPA, brewed with fresh Citra hops, is 8.6 percent ABV, comes in 22 ounce bottles and on draft and is best served fresh. But act fast because this stash wonít last forever. Just like that rash you got in Tijuana, the Border Hopper will be gone just as soon as the next brewing itch needs to be scratched.

Bomber thanks to drowland, pours a hazy amber wiht a nice light white head, the aroma has a great hoppy touch with a malt balance, the flavor has a nice hop backbone with citrus notes, it seems that it could have been a little more bitter, it has a sweet finish that is different from other imperials I have had, good brew though.

Bomber, shared by NachlamSie. Pours a nice bold orange color with small offwhite head. The aroma is very fruity, filled with apricot, tangerine, peach, and a little bit of honeyish malt and slight graham cracker. The flavor is dense juicy hops. Lots of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and mango fill my mouth, with only a little bit of harsh bitterness. Thereís a grainy note behind that, and by the finish it tastes something like graham crackers. This one is smooth and delicious.

Bottle shared by DalzAle (thanks Greg). Pour is bright and hazy amber with a frothy kahki head. Aroma is mutled malt and hops with some caramel too. Taste is creamy and sweet with bitter hops that come off fruity and gritty. Palate is medium feel with a chaulky dry finish. Pretty good!

Bomber thanks to jrob21. Pours a hazy orange with a 1 finger , creamy off white head that has great retention and leaves a few specs of lacing. Aroma is huge floral and citrus hops, a touch of pine, sweet caramel, tropical fruit, light mineral notes, and a touch of peppery, bready yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, toasted grain, light biscuit, floral honey, citrus, sweet mango, and light berry notes. Surprisingly low on bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, between creamy and syrupy on entry and chewy to the finish. Pretty tasty IPA, nice fruity notes, but a little weak in flavor compared to its sweetness.

on tap at Taco Mac, Windward. arrived to the table as a dark orange with a firm 1 finger white creamy head. the fresh citra hops really shine on the nose with big citrus and fruity aromas. medium smooth creamy body with more citrus hop notes along with some peach, apple and banana notes lingering through. there is a nice sweet malt backing to keep things balanced. bitter, sweet finish. wonderful fresh hop IIPA from Sweetwater.... check this one out.

On tap at Macís Speed Shop Steele Creek. Pours clear dark golden orange with white head. Aromas of grapefruit, tropical fruits, little pine, and caramel malts along with some hops. Flavors of some tropical fruit and citrus with some hop bitterness and caramel malts. Nicely balanced but not overly flavorful.

(22oz bottle courtesy of Fata2683!!). Pours hazy orange/apricot color with white head. Active carbonation. Aroma has some herb (mint?), dank hops, hard candy and some citrus. Taste is sweet malts with some bitterness. Medium bodied with a slick/oily texture. Finish is bitter. I didnít think I would enjoy this based on the nose, but the flavors are much lighter than expected. The spiciness/mint notes really add a different dimension that I like quite a bit. The alcohol is pretty well hidden also. Thanks Keith!!!
