COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Whoa! I guess itís pretty obvious we arenít able to hide our excitement about this Dank Tank offering. Our Wet Dream makes its mark with a full 420 pound load of dripping wet Chinook hops that were hand picked FRESH from the fields at Vinny Van Hornís family farm in Washington State. We overnighted these bad boys to our bat cave in Georgia, and within 24 hours of those juicy little suckers dangling on the vine, we brewed dem up, defining this beautiful 7.5% alc/vol red ale with explosive crazy FRESH hop flavors never seen in these parts before! Wake Up! Cause the Wet Dream in your hand is best enjoyed as FRESH from the brewery as possible. So good itís embarrassing!

Tall off-white head over a slightly hazy deep copper body. Fresh citrus hop aroma - grapefruit maybe? Earthy subdued bitter hop flavor.

Pours a moslty clear bright orange amber with a thinning head. Aroma is indeed- dank with resinous hops, some weed, gets hints of garlic, citrus, and weed. Flavor is syrupy sweet though, honey and overloaded with carapils, and crystal malts, light molasses and brown sugar then some grassy dank weedy hops citrus and pine sap. Finishes a bit on the sweet sticky side.

650 ml bottle courtesy of Lagunitasfan. Pours a copper brown color with a medium off-white head. The aroma was mildly fruity with papaya and mango. The flavor was iced tea, and a sweetened ice tea at that. The palate was full and lightly malty with fair carbonation. The finish short and saccharine sweet. Overall; I could not pick out the style when I sampled this, I thought perhaps a mild barley-wine--and later when I saw that it was an IPA I was a bit shocked. There was not a trace of bitter in this bottle. I was prepared to rate this a bit higher as I did enjoy it, but this is simply not an IPA.

Shared with Stefanje, sent from TheBeerSommelier. Nose is super sweet. Apple and grape and high citrus. Taste is light iced tea. Bit of lemon and light grape. Bitterness lingers. OK.

Iím glad that they made a Wet Dream to follow their Blue Balls. Bottle at DCís first tasting of 2010. Thin copper colored with no head and no lacing. Caramel aroma (only). Hops are only evident as it warms. Simple flavor, lacks freshness. Average.

From DC Local tasting. Courtesy of CaptainCougar. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma is piney, nutty, resiny hops. Taste gives you that sort of old strawberry cheesecake body that takes over less than extremely fresh DIPAs and Fresh Hop IPAs. Hard to really get a good sense of whether this wouldíve kicked ass had it been fresher or was always sort of mediocre.

22oz bottle, thanks CaptainCougar. Clear dark amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some pine/pineapple, light bread. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, pine/pineapple, light bread. Medium body, some resin.

Sampled at the DC Local tasting. Pours a hazy yellow, gold with a wispy, cloudy white head. Aroma was nice, someone remarked that it smelled like a wet hop beer, resin, pine, perfume, citrus. Flavor was well balanced, sweet, citrus, pine. Finish was sweet with lasting bitterness. Pretty good.

Sweet , sugary malt aroma with some hop resin - very pleasant. Cloudy amber in color, rather dark, with little head. Resiny hop flavor, citrus and woodiness, with a powerful amount of residual sugars from the malt - almost candy-like. Finishes sweet. Good beer.

Bottle:   Amber, moderate frothy off-white head, patchy lacing.   Sweet hoppy nose, soft citrus.   A little maple syrup like sweetness.   Some dank basement.   Similar tongue, mild sweet hopiness, a bit of sweetness, some honeycomb.   Its like a sweet IPA, but has some wet sock and general dankness.   A bit musty, some damp basement aspects.   Tiz okay, but could be a bit bigger, sweeter, and hoppier.   Tiz okay tho.   Thanks Rob!
