COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Whoa! I guess itís pretty obvious we arenít able to hide our excitement about this Dank Tank offering. Our Wet Dream makes its mark with a full 420 pound load of dripping wet Chinook hops that were hand picked FRESH from the fields at Vinny Van Hornís family farm in Washington State. We overnighted these bad boys to our bat cave in Georgia, and within 24 hours of those juicy little suckers dangling on the vine, we brewed dem up, defining this beautiful 7.5% alc/vol red ale with explosive crazy FRESH hop flavors never seen in these parts before! Wake Up! Cause the Wet Dream in your hand is best enjoyed as FRESH from the brewery as possible. So good itís embarrassing!

Photo submitted. Thank you Grant (GAManiac) for the 22oz bomber, no date. Clear medium deep orange with a one finger light yellow brown head, fading to a thick ring and thin film before long. Floral citrus nose with some nicely sweet cotton candy/caramel malt goodness. Light herbal hops and alcohol are kinda hanging in the background--overall good hoppy nose--Iím glad to find this beer in good shape. The flavor turns a bit tropical--pineapple dominates with almost a canned pineapple-ness--just a little too sweet. The finish is semi-dry with bitterness only at a 3, with just a little bit of alcohol burn. Medium body with light to moderate prickly carbonation. Aroma actually got a 7.5. Not too bad, but still a hair of a let down. Also, being named Dank Tank, I was hoping for a big herbal/weed aroma, but got nothing of the sort--not that that hurt the rating.

Dark amber color and a medium-sized head. not much aroma. There is a predominate green-hop flavor and a malt base. Smooth beer but could have a better blend.

I liked this one. I like fresh aromatic hops, I like a slightly thinner bodied IPA, I like it unblaanced to the bitter as opposed to sweet. Therefore, I liked this beer.

22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy deep copper color with a fluffy off white / beige head, some spotty lacing left on the tulip. nose of tangerine and other citrus fruits. some semi sweet malts in the background as well. Flavor starts with some dirty citrus, and wet herbal hops with the finish holding some hints of roasted malts and a medium hop bitterness.

On tap. Had to change my pants when I heard this one was coming out. Clear red with a 2-finger foamy head. Aroma is fresh hop, mainly citrus and pine, and earth. The flavor is big sour citrus hops followed by a bitter earthiness with hints of roasted malts, caramel, and nuttiness. Honestly my favorite part was my burp, it tasted just like fresh hops.

Appearance is reddish copper with a thin white head. Aroma is mostly hops. Taste is also primarily hops, slightly piney. A bit fuller in body than their standard IPA, and the hops donít have that strong grapefruit flavor. Overall, I found this very enjoyable, hope it becomes a regular seasonal for them.

Appearance: Pours out a quite clear body displaying a dark amber hue and sporting a frothy, off-white head. Smell: The generous dose of wet hops provide a scent of moist garden herbs and long-stem flowers, all rounded out by notes of pine, Meyer lemon, and sweet-smelling malts. The mingling of fragrant plant-like scents gives one the sense of traipsing through a floristís shop. Taste: Sweet-tasting pale maltiness along with some hints of toastiness and whole raw grains. Itís actually quite sweet, with flourishes of light caramel and sugary treacle. The addition of FRESH Washington-grown Chinook hops provides fine tastes of oily citrus rinds, young pine saplings, and a particularly distinct dew-strewn herbal flavor. The bitterness, though somewhat subdued, is long lasting, riding out well beyond the bittersweet, minerally finish. A touch of alcohol warmth at the tail end. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Thereís a subtle oiliness to the overall mouthfeel. Drinkability: Not a bad lilí wet hop ale. Again, itís not to see Sweetwater mixing things up a bit with the Dank Tank series.

22 oz bottle courtesy of GAManiac. Thanks, Grant! Pours a nice dulled amber, decent hazy, moderate whitish head that laces, dies to a decent film. Aromas are a bit piney, caramel malts, floral hoppiness. I like the bit of pine ahead of citrus flavors. Initial is medium bodied, piney resinous flavors along with florals and some earthiness, citrus falls much further behind, with caramel and pale malts complimenting the bitterness well. I like the fact that this IPA is different, not relying heavily on citrus hops, instead bringing a decent dose of pine, florals, and well rounded earthy bitterness, and a touch of fruitiness over the malts, instead of a citrus bomb. Nice. Cheers.
