3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Suttree (4447) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 15, 2009I liked this one. I like fresh aromatic hops, I like a slightly thinner bodied IPA, I like it unblaanced to the bitter as opposed to sweet. Therefore, I liked this beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mixmasterob (828) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Tasted at the brewery today. Poured a light orange with a decent head. Aroma was rather subtle. Light floral notes, with some lemon and orange zest. Flavors were also on the light side. Decent hop flavors, light citrus. Mouthfeel was light to medium, smooth light finish with just a very light bitterness. Good fresh hop IPA.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (4536) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Limited release form Sweetwater.
Pours an orangeish/reddish amber with a large off-white head that quickly dissipates. Leaves some lacing.
The smell is very floral and earthy, along with hints of lemon and spice.
The first thing I notice with this beer is the watery mouthfeel. It is pretty hoppy with a lot of bitterness and some lemon zest flavor in there. The malt profile of this one is totally bland, this isn’t what I would expect from a limited release brew.
Overall this is an average brew, just tastes like a hoppier version of this typically over-pedestrian style. The mouthfeel is terrible.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 emacgee (3430) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - NOV 11, 2010
This one wasn’t too bad. Nose is pretty nice, fresh and hoppy. There is a bit too much hop intensity in a way, the profile is too singular. Citrusy and resinous. Flavor is zesty and citrusy. Flavor is a bit less pronounced than the aroma. Pretty nice but nothing too awesome, the name leaves something to be desired.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 TomDecapolis (4221) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Thanks to hopdog for sharing this bottle. Pours a lightly hazy amber with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of floral and orange hop notes, tobacco, toffee, eat and sweet caramel malt. Flavor of tea, grapefruit, grassy hops, caramel, toffee and can still get the fresh hops although they seem to be starting to die out. Hop bitterness low and malt sweetness creeping up on this one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle thanks to kp, sampled on 1/10/10: Transparent orange amber pour has a small ring of clingy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of pretty fresh grapefruity hops and some lightly sweet pale malt. Starts with decent fullness and sweet butterscotchy caramel with a pretty good balance of grapefruity hops before a drier, slightly oxidized bittersweet finish. A decent IPA, but could be a little more assertive.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Poured a hazy copper color with a small off-white head. Citrus, floral, and herbal hop aroma. Some sweetness from the malt base trying to show through. Citrus hop flavor that is quite long. Dominates the malt. Medium bodied.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 riversideAK (5404) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Lots of caramel, some toffee, some toasted notes, leafy, floral, and somewhat vegetal hop notes. Very sweet smelling. Rather unexpected. Pours copper, not much in the way of head or lace really. Sweet caremel, toffee, and rather muted earthy, leafy, and vegetal hops that don’t stand out much at all with the residual sweetness that pervades throughout. Obviously not wet hop season, and this is probably a little past its prime, but the malt bill seems to high to showcase the interesting characteristics of the wet hops.
