Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of grapefruit, while the flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops, alcohol, and grapefruit. The alcohol carries all the way to the finish.

Quite full-bodied with lots of caramel and roasted malts - some fruitiness also. Subdued bitterness. A delicious classic American Barley Wine. 110709

Bottle at LCRBM5. Hoppy aroma, sweet in mouth. Too sweet really. Good grapefruit hop. Nice DIPA/barley wine cross over, but a bit uncultured.

A Mes rate. Bottle at LCRBM #5.
Hazy amber coloured with a thin off white head. Rather sweet all round with lots of caramel. Deep chewy malt with a bit of balance from some nice fruity hoppage. Bitter citric finish with a drying feel and an alcoholic aftertaste. Decent beer.
