COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A cutting edge English Style Bitter with a mellow hop finish. Experience this medium bodied ale with it's complex combination of six malts balanced by four hop varieties.

This beer poured a orange amber color and formed a white head that left trace lace as it subsided. An aroma of hops, caramel and citrus was present. A flavor of malt, hops, caramel and citrus. A bit sweet in the finish and while not a bad beer, not representative of a good ESB style.

Huge head, make sure you have a big glass. Ambercolour. Very sweet icing sugar aroma. Delicious hop flavour. Dry but does not dry the mouth. Much better than many exported English versions. The hops are the the highlight but I do not see the malt complexity.

TipsyMcStager (1065) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 18, 2003
moderate yeasty aroma, acids, sweetness and spiciness; quite pleasant. Pours a golden brown, head is frothy and slightly tan. Not much in the front or middle for flavour; a slight sweetness. Hops and alcohol are present at the end. An enjoyable beer.

Nice gold color with off-white head. Hops aroma. Hints of orange and malt. I agree that it was better after it warmed a little.

Started on the lighter, fizzier side, but as it warmed, it gained plenty. Some caramel in the malts, backed by a proper hop balance. I got some burnt chocolate in there too - yummmmmmmm.

Libeerian (209) - Garner, North Carolina, USA - MAR 9, 2003
This beer sports clear gold color and a decent off-white head. It's got bold malt and hop flavors and appropriate bitterness. Good example of style.

CaptainCougar (6749) - Boz Scaggsville, Maryland, USA - JAN 23, 2003
Fresh hoppy aroma with some malt. Initial flavor peaks at pine needles. Perhaps they used spruce, but it's a very disconcerting off-flavor that I wasn't really expecting in an ESB. The finish is ok and the balance decent, but I expected a little more from this brewery.

daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 21, 2002
Light golden appearance. Aroma is organically piney/citrusy. Good fresh aroma of malt and hops. Body is organically hoppy, not much else happening. There are defenitely better ESB’s.
