3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. It’s brown alright and when held up to a sunlit window I could detect some reddish notes. The head was tan and thin (1/4 inch) and diminished quickly. No lacing was left on the glass. The aroma was very malty with hints of brown sugar and molasses. The taste is a bit when compared to the aroma. Oh, the taste has the malts, but I was expecting a really sickly sweet brew. I’m happy to report that was not the case. Turns out to be somewhat refreshing and surprisingly light on the palate.

Bottle. I like this brown ale. Well rounded with flavors I would expect from a beer of this type.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I really enjoy this beer, pours a dark brown with a faint khaki colored head that does not fade. It smells of loads of malts as well as some chocolate, the beer taste of a lot of sweet malts and a bit of chocolate, at the end there is a bit of hops to balance out the sweetness

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dull brown with a half finger of tan foam that settles quickly. The nose smells of spent grain, cardboard and sweet brown bread. The palate follows the nose but is a bit more focused and pleasant then the nose... Oats, peanut shells, caramel and a hint of bitterness on the finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with a large, creamy light tan head that leaves a decent amount of lacing. Aroma of caramel, malts, nuts, hint of chocolate and toffee. Taste is malt up front, slightly nutty, caramel, and toasted white bread. A bit dry but crisp. Short finish of malts and toast. Medium bodied, slick texture bordering on thin, average carbonation. A well rounded brown ale. Nothing absolutely amazing or ground breaking, but very nice nonetheless. Enjoyable and certainly an easy drinker.
