Bottle. The pour was a hazy copper brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) creamy beige head that lasted for a decent while thus producing some very good sheets of lace on the glass.
The aroma was typical of a Brown Ale with some roasted chocolate malts, a smidgen of herbal hops and a doughy yeast with notes of coffee, caramel, brown sugar and a very light dark fruit ester.
The taste was malty to say the least with mild chocolate and caramel notes from the beginning and finished about the same but with a slight hoppy bitterness, a touch of brown sugar and a strong coffee presence. The flavor hung around for a little while with the taste of coffee being the most dominant, but also having a very mild sweet bitterness to it.
Mouthfeel was just a shade under medium in body with the texture being creamy and a little oily and having a medium carbonation.
Overall a pretty straight forward Brown Ale. Bold and tasty, but with no surprises. Most definitely a brew you could drink a few of.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample pour of moderate brown with light khaki head. Nose is moderate sweet malt and caramel mostly. Some nuttiness but not a ton. Flavor is lightly zesty caramel and sweet malt. Not a ton of hop presence but what is there is just light citrus. Really drinkable and fairly enjoyable

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft... Pours clear and dark brown with copper flashes when held up to bright light. The nose is toasty and lightly chocolaty. Medium-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is nearly a perfect reflection of the aroma, but also includes a faint, vinous, port-like characteristic. It trends a smidge toward the sweet side of balance, but not by much. Crisp, lightly vinous, mildly sweet finish. Went well with my order of smoked wings at Broken Barrel Tavern.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to Danny. Pours with bright clarity, brown in color, minimal white head. Nose is dusty and reminds me of Munich malt. Some bread crust notes as well. Taste is slightly roasty up front with some slight bitterness. Mouthfeel is a little thin, Otherwise, a very enjoyable brown ale.
