jhumphries69 (717), Tyrone, Georgia, USA Sep 3, 2006 Pours light orange with thin white head. Not as light colored or as cloudy as other Belgian White style beers (although it is unfiltered and bottle-conditioned). The aroma is heavy of wheat, yeast, and a little bitter orange. The flavor has a lot of hop flavors (not bitterness, but fresh hop flavor), some spice (Coriander is the usual for this style) and bitter orange. The mouthfeel is pleasant - medium-bodied and wheaty. Overall, not the best Belgian Wit, but it is a very satisfying summer beverage unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 16, 2006
This is the latest bottle from the Trout Humpers. These hippies made a refeshing beer. I drank the whole 6pk in one sitting. Very light and thirst quentching. kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA Aug 11, 2006 I had this beer on tap on a hot summer night with spicy food. Nice hazy golden color, as expected, with medium white head and very good lacing. Despite the spicy food, I was able to detect a nice aroma of hoppy spices and fruits; predominantly clove and oranges. Flavor was a very tasty continuation of the clove and fruit, which all led to a good, thirst-quenching finish. At mid-glass, I actually squeezed the accompanying lemon into the glass, which actually helped add a nice tangy flavor. A good beer that I will definitely have more of. jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 7, 2006 Bottled aquired from goldtwins, thanks Larry. Really could not get a noticable smell from this beer. Very cloudy with a thin head that disappears too quickly. Taste is decent. Mild with a slight citrus undertone. Went decent with grilled food. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Aug 5, 2006 Draught at the WBF in Raleigh. Decent white head, with a cloudy orange body. Mildly yeasty aroma of citrus and spice. Flavor is similar. Good beer, but typical of the style. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 20, 2006 Bottle from Goldtwins, thanks Larry. Pours a very light golden color with an inch or so oh white foam. Hose and taste is very spicey. The coriander is more than present as is the citrus. A refreshing brew on a hot summer day. Pours a murky orange yellow with a nice fat white head. The aroma is strong with the herbal coriander or grains of paradise (I get the two confused, I see the label says coriander though so that settles that) nice light mango sweetness that made me smile just a bit. Some banana in the finish. I like the flavor, but there is something in the nose that makes me want to cringe that I am trying to place. It is like the smell of fresh green beans, it is not my friend. Everything else in this beer is working for me though. Thanks for the bottle Larry, although I have to say the horsey sauce does not compliment this beer either.

hopdog (5527), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 7, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with goldtwins (thanks!). Bottle notched best before Month 9 Week 4. Poured a deep and cloudy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of lemons, orange peel, yeast, and coriander. Tastes of citrus, yeast, coriander, and cloves. Some wheat present as well. Not a bad Witbier.
