steez (2), Georgia, USA does not count Nov 4, 2009 Opened the bottle and was overwhelmed with pineapple...nice and clean. A little grapefruit and smooth. Tons better than the Sam Adams IPA I bought earlier. beernovice39 (237), South Carolina, USA Nov 2, 2009 I can not believe how highly rated this is!?!?!? Seemed a little thin and weak to me. Drinkable and widely available where I am. krapfoo (1), Georgia, USA does not count Oct 30, 2009 My "go-to" beer. A staple here in Woodstock, GA. Good balance of sweetness/bitterness - very smooth IPA. DarkSong (101), Dacula, Georgia, USA Oct 13, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow orange with a thick white long lasting head. It has an intense mostly grapefruit citrus hop aroma. It has a wonderful grapefruit citrus taste with a strong pine taste. Nice hop bitterness with out being overly bitter. This is a excellent beer and is very refreshing. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Sep 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden orange body with a white head. Hoppy and wheat y. Pine, citrus, and coriander. Grassy, grapefruit, and a lighter caramel body. zizzybalubba (335), Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA Sep 29, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Raleigh (North Hills). Hazy, dark orange pour with a thick, creamy off-white head. Clean hop aroma of pine, grapefruit, and a hint of soap. Nice, clean flavor. Citrus and floral hop taste. Some caramel sweetness. Nothing is overdone this is just an easy drinking, clean, nicely done IPA. bubbleflubber (885), Collinsville, Virginia, USA Sep 11, 2009 Pours a golden-amber, almost orange, into the glass, with a nice 1-finger frothy cap that reduces to leaves generous soap lace. Very refreshing citrus-pine floral nose, with concentrations on roses as the brew warms to fruition (nice). The flavors are well-integrated, with some grapefruit notes, some rind/peel, and a nice pine hop finish. The mouthfeel is crisp and the texture is smooth with a medium body. This brew does have substance, but goes down so easily to make it very drinkable, and would do for a nice session IPA. Easy quaff! arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 4, 2009 This beer was a beautiful golden orange with a two inch solid white head which subsided slowly. The head left lacing on my glass and lasted until the last drop, nice and sticky. The smell was slightly piney with fruit aromas and was pretty strong. The taste followed the smell with some citrus, some bitterness ,and a little pine. The mouthfeel was the best part, it felt like a cask beer. This is the best IPA i have had that is under 6%. They really have a winner with this one. Yum!
