COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Clear, honey gold with a slighty off white, creamy foam head. Smells strong of grapefruit and with hints of sweetness. Very balanced flavors - sweet malt cereal at first followed by heavy citrus (grapefruit) notes. Easy to drink light body. Strong bitter lingering notes, almost stronger than initial bitterness pop.

Reviewed from notes. Pours copper with a white head. Nice staying power and good lacing as it goes down my glass. Nose brings some fairly strong citrus hops and a tad bit of light malt. The taste is mostly citrus. There is some light bread and caramel flavors underneath. Good feel with nice bitterness. Not too high in alcohol with a good levels of hops, this is a drinkable beer. One of those citrusy, not overwhelmingly bitter IPAs that are en vogue. I could definitely drink this in some quantity, but I’m just not amazed. It’s a bit soapy for me.

Tap at Sweetwater pub in Atlanta airport while on layover in February 2011. Pours a brownish amber with a finger of light beige foam, leaving good lacing. Aroma is quite hoppy but not too intense: sweet citrus, cat piss, fresh-cut grass. Flavor is smooth caramel without a strong hop presence like the west coast IPA’s that I am more familiar with. The hoppiness does come in stronger later with some light tangy citrus and grass. Finishes rather more sweet than bitter. Kind of reminds me more of an APA than an IPA, but still very drinkable and enjoyable. (673, 487)

12oz bottle. Rating #672. Clear dark gold color with a nice little white head. Sweet floral light citrus hop aroma, very mild. Caramelly, light hops, very mild to me which could be that this is an older bottle, still pretty nice though. (1575)

From Matt at 3R6P. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a trace white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish, floral and a bit fruity. The flavor was bitter with notes of caramel, lemon, grapefruit, a bit of pine and a hint of perfume. The finish was medium length and dryish with light fruity and perfumey hops lingering. Medium body. Decent.

Pours clear and golden-orange with crimson hues on top. A one finger soapy head that quickly fades leaving low lace. A weak nose of floral and a bitter metallic taste with a chalky finish.
