Well balanced and light tasting. Almost makes you think it is a session beer. Tried at the Drink the District President’s Day event in DC in 2014.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Solid IPA that is a good everyday drinker. Totally balanced with a good amount of hop spiciness and grapefruit flavors, while the malt background is in check. Mouthfeel is great and not too carbonated. Good stuff.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid tropical fruit hop ipa. Definitely worth trying if you?re in Georgia. Not as hazy as I thought it would be for an unfiltered ale, and the head didn’t last long - but neither of those things detracted from its sweet goodness.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweetwater IPA is a solid IPA but not really a standout. (That IPA category has just gotten so competitive.) Aroma is fresh hop but not real prominent. Pour is an expected amber with a decent head. Taste is a nice mix of floral notes without a bitter finish. Sweetwater IPA is a good session beer or for drinking with meals.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Carbonated amber ale with creamy white head. Strong grapefruit that overpowers other aromas. Taste is bitter grapefruit that lingers. Taste and palate not as strong as Conductor’s Craft Ale.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Transparent amber with white head. Aroma of hops and alcohol. Taste of bitter hops with a very slight citrus aftertaste. Not great, but I’m biased towards Georgia beers so I drink it all the time.
