COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Best by 7/4/09. Today is 3/9/2010. Hmmm. Turgid, ruby-brown. Smells more of molasses and dark sugar. Very faint hop smell. Sweet up front with a slight tartness. Almost a bitter? Almost a brown? I dunno. NOT an IPA at this point. Maybe IPA homebrew? I think the time did not do it justice. Will re-rate when I can get a fresher bottle.

Draft at Brewvival: Aroma is of lawn clippings, peaches, and oranges. Hazy amber, thin white head. Malt forward pricot flavor, lemongrass finish. Solid.

Ranks among my favorite IPAs. Nice aroma of peaches and orange peel, hazy golden amber appearance, and you can definitely tell that everything that went into this beer was premium selection!

Thanks to Ucusty! It pours orange with an orangy head. The aroma is peaches, caramel, and a little grapefruit. The flavor is peaches and orange peel. A little spicy with a mild bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2010 A definite favorite of mine in this style. Aroma is funky, hops, hops and more hops. Pours golden with mild carbonation. Taste is of citrus hops with a bitterness that fits nicely. Finishes nicely and drinks like a champ. A+

Tasted 2/25/10. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden amber hue. Aromas of candy citrus and mild grapefruit. Medium bodied with a bright and crisp effervescence. Bright grapefruit flavors and a mild malt bill. Lingers in the finish. Very nice!

Serving: Draft at the pub in Atlanta Airport. It pours a hazy orange color with a thin, foamy, off-white head. The nose is very citric with notes of grapefruit, candied orange, and a slight herbal hop note. The taste is very hop forward as you would expect, but not too bitter. Pale malt, grapefruit, herbal notes, and some malt sweetness make for a really nice IPA. Medium bodied with a medium-long finish. Pleasantly bitter and very sessionable. A quality brew.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2010 Pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head. Aroma and taste: citrus & sweet fruits... nice amount of hops with a mild bitter finish. Overall a very nice IPA.
