COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Pours amber with medium white head. Aroma is citrus, grassy hops and a little bready malts. Taste is heavy grapefruit and moderate hoppiness. Sweet malts come through as well. Finishes a little salty, that is the only weakness.

Courtesy of Balázs, thanks!

On tap at Sweetwater in the ATL airport. Amber pour with a white head. Couldn’t get too much aroma from the pint glass. Stale bland hops, with non de-script malt flavors. A pour effort.....

This review is compromised somewhat - I tried this beer at a Atlanta Hawks vs Orlando Magic NBA game. I was so very impressed that you could get a microbrew beer at a sports game alongside any other macrobrew, whereas in Australia you can only have 2 beers: The sponsors beer, and the sponsors light beer. The Hawks also got up in a thriller. The flavour of the IPA was to my liking - I enjoy the really obtuse flavours in beer, so the hoppy flavours and the malt were well received. Thought that it was perhaps more a pale ale style compared to an IPA given the malt content, but regardless, an excellent beer - and I hope they continue to sell this at the game.

Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Big citrus and floral aromas. Sweet malty flavor with lemon and orange notes and a hint of grapefruit at the finish. Medium bitterness with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and a very easy drinker.

Pours orange with large, fluffy, white head. Smells like citrus with hints of malt undertones. Tastes bitter with some sweetness mixed in. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and decent mouth-carbonation, Sweetwater IPA finishes with a decent bitterness.

Bottle. Hoppy. Actually it’s too bitter for my taste. Nice aroma though. Golden color. Nice head.

On tap in South Carolina. I drank this beer a couple of times during my sweltering hot visit to South Carolina. A well balanced tasty India Pale Ale, but as suspected, not as refreshing as their American Pale Ale. A bit sweeter than I am used to, especially at the end.
