This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPAís lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If youíre at the brewery youíll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy deep amber-straw color with some fine sediment and an average-sized foamy white head with modest retention, but very nice cling and lacing. Its aroma had a pleasant blend of citrus, floral, and pine hops with bits of grain and perhaps wheat. The taste was a mostly grainy-citrus bitter blend with some earthy straw notes and a very light sour effect. It had very lively, fizz mouthfeel with high carbonation, and a thicker, fuller feel with a very dry character and finish.

Good solid IPA. Strong piney and floral notes in the nose. Good light copper color with a nice white head. Crisp and full palate. The carbonation worked well with the hopís bitterness. Strong piney flavor up front that lasted throughout. Some caramel noted on the back end. Pretty well-balanced and easy to drink.

MY favorite go to beer. My wife loves it too. I like the bright citrus element of the hops. VERY drinkable and hoppy too.

Delicious refreshing and all around A plus IPA. Nice citrus and pine aroma, with a dry as hell finish. Nuts hoppy but well balanced. The balance is what makes Sweetwater IPA so much better than most in my opinion. These are just excellent, I could drink these until I just pass out. Donít tempt me! Amazing beer, what itís all about!

Citrus on head with light perfume. Well balance, session like IPA. Pours orange with decent head and lacing. Medium bitter finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft - Mild grapefruit and a bit of malt. Clear copper with a thin head. Light citrus with a nice balanced pithy hop. A decent IPA, but nothing special.

Rcvd in trade. Reviewed from notes. The appearance has a hazy orange/amber colored body with a one finger white head that dies fairly quick, clingy lacing is left in rings. The smell has citrus, pine and floral tones combined and are up front, ever so light malt in the background, the smell stays that way all throughout the brew. The taste is bittersweet through the previously mentioned flavors and combined thoroughly. The palate is about a light to medium. Carbonation is felt just right, very sessionable, dry bitter aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is a very good American IPA that I would definitely come back to as it is simple and didnít change throughout.

Pours a hazy golden color (unfiltered), slight floral aroma but not much, minimal head (maybe slightly un-carbonated), good medium body, slight floral taste, medium hop bite towards back of the tongue but finishes clean with a bit of sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
