COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

bottle thanks to goldtwins. exciting aroma of hops, of course--there is a big british influence on this beer’s hops, which from the description above would be the goldings. very drinkable but not outstanding.

Thanks to beer yum. I do not love casscade hops, and Surprise, I loved this. This could be my everyday summer beer. The hops were a complement, not something to avoid. Sweet, malt, grapefruit hops. This is my idea of a great IPA.

Thanks goldtwins! Amber color with a thin head. Nice lemon aroma with some floral hops. A good hopiness in the flavor, but not overwhelming to say the least. Slightly dusty. Tasty!

probably my favorite hoppy beer, I just love the balance, I never used to be an IPA guy, but they really seem to be growing on me. All in all this one is a winner

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2005 smells very floral and sweet. not cloudy but has chunks of ingredients floating in it which add to the flavor. tastes like it has some mandarin orange flavor which i found very pleasant. not as sweet as some i.p.a.’s. very good.

Slightly cloudy and orangish/brown. Thick tinted head. Smells citrusy sweet - pineapple and grapefruit intertwined with a nice hop bouquet. Very flavorful - pineapple, grapefruit, mango and hops. Hints at cedar and maple. Unusual and different from other IPAs, but good, nonetheless. Thanks to goldtwins for the bottle!

Hazy orangish color with a medium white head. Very aromatic, candy sugar, floral hops. Sharp hop bite to start, remaining bitter throughout. There is little or no sweetness in this brew. The harsh bitterness is more than I have experienced with other IPAs, I can feel it sitting on the sides of my tongue, and it becomes unpleasant. This bottle was courtesy of goldtwins. Thanks.

Dark golden-amber in color with decent off white head. Citrusy, floral aroma with slight maltiness. Flavor is the opposite with a little more balance to the malt than the bittering hops. Good amount of dry hops for the aroma, but needs more bittering hops. Pretty smooth and very drinkable. A decent IPA.

Deep copper/amber color with slight head. Aroma is citrusy/ornage some lemongrass and pine, with hints of fruitiness. Good sweet maltiness in the flavor which balanced well with the american and british hops. Weird combination of hops but it works pretty well with this IPA. Nice but not outstanding.

12oz bottle BB 11/05(month/week)...so yet another past date sweetwater, unless that month/week is supposed to be in 2005...all of mine were bought outside Dahlonega, GA at WOrld Beverage. Banana & lemon hop/yeast combo in aroma and flavor. some malt backdrop. Not overly bitter, certainly not harsh...Quite quaffable, well-integrated, hoppy beer with just a bit more yeast fruitiness than some, it seems to me.
