COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Draft. Hazy, amber body. Frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. Floral aroma with notes of resin, grapefruit, cookie, toasted grain and dough. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It fiinishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, smooth texture and lively carbonation. Liked the balance in the aroma between the hops and malts, but the flavor had too much raw hops flavor.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2011 Rerate: Bottle brought back from GA in July, enjoying the final one. This is wonderful; Aroma is sweet citrus - pineapple, melon - and bitter grapefruit, plus the aromatic pine. Flavor follows, and has great balance with some malt presence. Syrupy yet still somewhat light. Dare I say Sculpin-ish? Top 5 IPA certainly. First time: Bottle from some gas station in western Atlanta. Amazing that is randomly is available. The guy said distributed by Miller - but obviously not near me. Pours an orangey-brown with good lacing. Aroma is hoppy with sweet citrus fruit, great grassiness and pine. Flavor is pine, grapefruit and lemon, mango with some resin. Finishes with a great mix of sweet and bitter (I would have said amarillo and simcoe, myself), somewhat sticky. Very nice! 8-4-9-4-15.

12 oz bottle from a sampler 12-pack picked up on a road trip. Nice citric hop aroma and dark amber pour. Flavor is resinous hops with light caramel and pale malts. Columbus and Golding hops is an odd combination and gives an interesting and unique flavor. I like it. If this stuff were available and priced right in my city I would drink a pile of it. Great IPA.

Bottle. Clear orangey hue with a good head and decent lacing. The sweet aroma is of pine and citrus (orange and grapefruit). The hoppy profile is offset nicely by the malt. Well crafted beer that is not overly bitter. Well done again Sweetwater. A staple of mine for sure.

Strong floral aroma. Taste intense hops with slight bitterness. More sweet than bitter.

Excellent IPA. I’d drink this all the time if I had access. Booming with hops throughout the aroma and the flavor. Tons of floral and pine aromas and flavors. Has a nice sweetness to it as well, but the hops definitely dominate. Top-notch.

Bottle. Thanks to Secret Santa! Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney aroma. Slightly sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit finish.
