COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPAís lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If youíre at the brewery youíll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Perfume, yeast nost. Dry. This reminded more of say a pale ale than an IPA. No hops whatsoever. Watered down and nearly flavorless.

Was one of the better IPAs I have ever had. It had a great color to it and slightly powerful taste going down. I would definately have this again.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2006 Yes, Iím fully aware that Iím going to be thought of as a nut for giving this such a high score after Iím done, but this was absolutely excellent! The pour is a clear, coppery color with a thin white head which sheathed nicely. The aroma was magnificent...not the wow thatís nice magnificent...but that open the bottle and the WHOLE room smelled of sugar candy, caramel, cotton candy, orangey/mandarin esters, and malt/barley sweetness nice....the sweetness most pleasant aroma I think I have ever smelled. One of my top 3 aromaís thats for sure. Right up there with Westy Blond! The flavor continues where the smell left off with a pleasant malty sweetness. Its like your practically licking a 50 pound bag of malt with a slightly bitter east coast dry hopping in the finish. Caramels, cookies, mandarins....just superb. Nice mouthfeel, slightly thick, but really medium bodied. Carbonation is light and tempered. Long lasting finish....just sweet sweet sweet...i donít know how many times i can describe how much of a sweet-tooth beer this is! Such wonderful caramel malt usage! Wow is all I can say...my only issue is this is more of an APA than an IPA...but iíll let it slide! Thanks Shag!

Charlotte Oktoberfest. Orange pour with a white head. The flavor was very fruity with a killer dry hop kick. Great IPA.

Medium sized head, clear orange body. Very sweet and fresh cascade hops, fizzy palate, solid malts but not exciting Lack of flavor perhaps? A nice, medium strength IPA, with a decent hop kick, not overdone.

I donít know what everybody else was talking about...poured huge ass head that did thin out, but left some lacing, orange amber color...light aroma, floral with big citrus...tasted very citrusy and peppery up front, with a subtle easy hop bitterness at the end...finish sweet and peppery...good stuff!!

Pours an airy cream colored head on an unclear orange body. Mild but nice aroma. Hops, flowers, toffee and oranges. Hops in the flavor also but not a lot. Notes of nut, fruit and plum. A pretty good IPA!

A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is lovely sweet and hoppy. The flavor is sweet malty and nicely hopped with notes of oil before a dry hoppy end sets in.

09.11.04 12oz bottle courtesy of Goldtwins. First off, I already love any beer that has a fishing related label, so this beer could have been terrible and Iíd still give it props. Luckily, the beer is very good so I donít have to. Pours a slightly clouded golden with slight head and little lace. Aromas are candy sweet, freshly herbal and grassy, light pine. Flavors are more pine and big dry-hoppy goodness right up front. The beer gets right to the point, very nice, and thereís a real kick of bitterness as the deal closes. This would make a great everyday quaff. Thanks again, Larry!

Bottled: Golden coloured. Unclear. Off white medium sized head. Hops, fruit and sweetness in the aroma. Hoppy and fruity flavour with some citric notes. Has a latent harsh bitterness lingering in the background. Very interesting beer provided by the incredible CaptainCougar. Thanks.
