COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPAís lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If youíre at the brewery youíll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Pours a hazy yet bright red/orange color body with a foamy, off-white head. Earthy, floral aroma. Flavors are strong but not sour grapefruit with a tight floral finish. Very easy to drink from the second it pours and it just gets better. A very good IPA!

This is the beer that introduced me to the IPA style and it is the one that I am still going back to.

Draft at Music City Brewerís Fest. Amber in color with a creamy off-white head. Tons of hops in the nose with grapefruit, orange, and flowers standing out. The flavor was not super bitter, but very smooth and relaxed with a nice citrus blend. The body was light and a dry texture. My favorite IPA of the fest.

Floral aroma, bitter taste of hops. This IPA is fairly strong up front with a nice fairly clean finish. Always a nice standby as its usually easy to find in Atlanta.

Nicely bitter! Has a murky appearance (not a bad thing) with a decent and lasting head. Heavy floral aroma and great bitter finish. Ummmm. Bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2006 NIce golden color, nice aroma with a hint of fruit. Decent mouth feel, had a nice bitter hop after taste. A good pale ale not quite the normal pale ale though. Canít wait to try it on tap.

Thank goodness that there is a time and space and that within this context two bottles of what one presumes to be the same exact thing exist. Had one on a recent evening and was cramming my nose in the thing and couldnít pull out aroma one. As in previous times of sinus woes I contemplated using beer as a nasal spray. Upon that attempted rating all was diminished. I wanted a beer and I got that. I could tell it was okay and little more. I do believe I even though it to be good. This evening I canít say that my nostrils have experienced a miracle, but I sure as hell got something out of this and those hops that I could sense tugging at my tongue came back and gave a very plesant greeting. Now, after all that I must say that the deep south might want to raise its head and acknowledge that California and other states have yet to fall into the ocean and thus statements of "mammoth IPA" might want to drop a notch. IPA that does this brewery proud, to be sure. I would love another. - good job.

I had heard good things about this one but to be honest i was a little disappointed. More bitter than i expected and not a great finish. Iíll try it again probably since iíve heard good things about it, but definitely better IPAís out there

Milky apricot. Fading small cap of creamy off-white foam. Thick webby lacing sticks generously. Aroma has a very nice balance of soft caramel and mild tropical fruity juices. Slowly emerging from its center of caramel is tangerine, apricot, pineapple, and light pine needle spirits. Taste has a nice mild tone of juicy tropicalized hops with light lemon and tangerine pulp with late returns of grapefruit pith and lightly fluffy pine needle greenness. The caramel isnít as prominent as the aroma leans towards but is there with a small backing element of sweetness. Overall; tasty and citrusy mild with a favorable balance with a slight extra nudge towards the hop end. And thats not a bad thing. Medium bodied and firm with a fine leafy/fluffyness of hops and a super refined tone of bitterness under the realm of tropical citrus. Light piney notes float off the back end. Stays creamy on the understatement with the caramel malt and is down right slamable. One stupendously slippery drinkiní IPA! I would stock up on this in my fridge as the 5.9% makes for a extremely steadfast sessionable brew. Infallibly deliciousifibly drinkable!

Had this at a hole in the wall bar that rocked by our apts. This was very east-coast-trying-to-be-west-coast. No citrus or piney flavors, but loaded with hops, malts, and floral scents and flavors. pretty decent but coulda been better. nce clean finish though
