4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Slight pine aroma with a flavor of flowers and peaches. Mild amber color with a lot of floaties. Hoppy flavor with a sweet finish, and again a peach-like flavor. Very nice and refreshing! Thanks to Jeremy for the local trade.

Amber pour with a light cream colored head. Lots of yeast and what looks like proteins in suspension. Gin with a orange rind twist for aroma. Hops flavors dominate in a hit and run type fashion. Lightly piney, lightly citrusy and then they are gone and leave you with a fruity (peach and light apple) somewhat sweet caramel finish. I do like mid to late boil hops additions. While the bitterness from a long boil is needed the flavors are lost and can impinge on the malt. For as light as the malt is in this one it is not overpowered as if it was only an afterthought. Thanks CaptainCougar for the bonus.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2003 Amber pour with a white head. Hops/floral from the aroma. I'm the biggest fan of Stone IPA and this isn't it. But still, for an IPA it's OK. Hops/malt balance in the flavor. On tap at Summits Tavern with jgb9348.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light amber coloured beer with a small head. Floral-hoppy aroma. I think the floral-fruit-hoppy taste is too dominating. On the other hand I've always had "problems" with IPAs. I'm a sweet strong Belgian guy. Maybe I just need more practising.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange-amber. Fresh, floral aroma of citrus & pine. Surprisingly soft, creamy feel w/ a lingering stickiness. Clean hope flavour (grapefruit, pine, mint) w/ a lovely biscuity maltiness. Extremely well-balanced. Finish is long & bitter w/ a slight earthy character.

Hops a lot of them and I must add that they were of good quality. Slightly fruity and sweet if you want to look beyond hop. It looked like light black tea with white head. Creamy, medium body. Hoppy yes but nicely rounded and executed .Very nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is fairly balanced between hops and malt. The flavor was definitely hoppy but a bit mild for an IPA. Not bad though.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy amber with a medium lasting white head. Aroma is a nice mix of English and Pacific hops. Refreshing taste with a bitterness not noticable until the finish. A beer that grows on you the more you drink it. Thanks Arcanuna.
