COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPAís lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If youíre at the brewery youíll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

This is an IPA with a nice full, malty body. The citrus favor comes right from the hop aroma up front. Everything from the color and lacing to the finish is more complete than most of this style. Finish lingers and is mostly of pine. The palate isnít as lively as the sister APA (420), but it is smooth.

Bottle from Goldtwins. Poured an orangish color, slightly hazy. Head was present for an instant, lacing minimal. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Floral and citric. Taste is malt and then a long hop finish. Refreshing.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2006 Pours with a minimal amount of beige foam and has a nice golden amber colorthat is a little hazy.Hops are the scent of the day for this brew.Mild aroma of grapefruity hops comes of this in a very pleasant way.A good IPA that could be indulged in quite often if it were to be had up here. Thanks to Capt.Cougar,again.

I had this side-by-side with the Speakeasy Big Daddy in a tasting with bu11zeye and TChrome, and for at least the first half of the bottle I was in disagreement with them, because I thought this more enjoyable than the Speakeasy. Decent head production, darker than the Speakeasy. Great aroma to me, fresh, floral, bready, with some dill (as in dill pickles). There was a malt backbone here where the Speakeasy didnít have it. Favorably impressed.

(Bottle) Sampled side-by-side with Big Daddy Speakeasy IPA. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and hops (much lighter aroma than the Speakeasy). Similar flavor.

Bottled, thanks SpringsLicker! Hazy golden. Rich grapefruit aroma. Sweet with clean but firm mouthfeel. Pine needle finish with good bitterness. A well balanced IPA, itís shortcomings in malt character are well masked behind the hops.

Pours a hazy amber with an off-white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit/hops, some spice. Lively carbonation, smooth and creamy, medium bodied. The flavor is grapefruit/hops, clean and refreshing, pungent. An excellent IPA.

Cloudy amber in color with an off white colored head sitting atop. The aroma of this IPA greatly encourages the user to take a big drink. Not so fast now! Aromas include delectable floral hops and a wonderful biscuity malt sweetness. The user is justly rewarded for his imbibing. Nice sharp hop bitterness on the front end is very suitably balanced by a dash of malt sweetness in the finish. Great daily drinker, this one rates with another of my faves, St. Arnold Elissa.

Thank you to Brooklyn Boy for this. Pours turbid coppery with a medium, creamy white head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, and fruit. Tastes malty, hoppy, with some fruit and spice in the finish. This one isn;t as overtly hoppy as other IPAs Iíve had, but it has some extra fruitiness and fullness in the finish. Very good.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a cloudy orangish-golden color. Some floaties in there also. Mine didnít have much of a white head to it. Nice hop nose, mainly of graperfuit, but some spiciness and maltiness come through also. The taste is a good balance of hops and malts. Just a bit bitter. A decent IPA. Thanks to Cap. Cougar for the trade!
