COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

On tap at Mellow Mushroom. Slightly hazy, amber body with a thin off-white frothy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with melon and mango hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy (mostly grapefruit), malty, and some grainy notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Good IPA.

On tap. Fresh grapefruit peel aroma with faint pine and sweet, lemony base malt. Hazy copper under a thin, patchy white, lacy sheet. Chewy caramel malt and bitter grapefruit peel flavour with some lemon and very light nutty accents. Medium bitterness and sweetness in perfect balance. Medium full body, medium carbonation, almost crisp.

Catty hop aroma. Notes of pine and some earthiness. Deep golden color with a tan head with some staying power. Rich malt up front with a balanced sweetness. Piney bitterness blends in nicely. Rich malty mouth feel. Finish is balanced with a nice bitterness that lingers on the tongue nicely. Solid IPA.

Surprising look compared to most IPAs. Based on the look I was expecting a weaker taste so I took a big first drink... I was surprised on the taste. Really strong hit to the palate, so switching to a weaker beer is a little tough afterwards.

Old rating. Pretty solid IPA. Amber colored, good hop-malt balance. Long bitter finish. Nice.

12 oz bottle bottled 2014-12-15, so not fresh, but not old either. Amber color. Aroma is a bit earthy. Taste is pine hops, OK malt balance. Very subdued flavor-wise. A bit too watery on the palate. Not worthy of a 97 in my book, but OK.

On tap while in DC. Great aroma and perfect follow thru. Definitely would have this again.

Light haze and amber pour. Shows pungent hops and caramel but a bit muted. Made in a balanced style, medium body and decent hoppy finish. A bit light on the flavour experience but glad I tried it.

Pours a clear, medium amber color with a thinner, though lingering, white head. A more fruity aroma contains peach, grapefruit, mango, apricot, caramel, and a little bit of pine. The taste continues with a very fruity theme. Lots of peach, mango, apricot, and grassy hops, while pine, grapefruit, and floral hops compliment the primary impressions. This isn’t as bitter as many of this style. Medium in body, slick in texture, with some lively carbonation. Delicious. A solid IPA.
