COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPAís lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If youíre at the brewery youíll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

This beer has an odd smell that I canít place, otherwise the aroma is decent. It has a golden appearance that has a copper tint to it. The beer is flavorable with a citrus taste.

Bottle - 12oz. Slightly hazy, amber body with a thin off-white frothy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with melon and mango hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy (mostly grapefruit), malty, and some grainy notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very good IPA. Thanks again, Kevin and Christina!

Pours from 12 oz bottle a hazy copper orange with a fluffy off white head. Aroma is moderately floral, has hoppy flowers, resin, grapefruit, apricot, moderately malty and lightly yeasty. Flavours are pine and pineapple, although the strong carbonation makes detecting them difficult. Resinous finish. This beerís subdued hops are fine by me, but I disliked the taffy sweetness. An ok beer, but I havenít bought it since.....

Fantastic grapefruit aroma that does not come through in the overly bitter taste. Unbalanced and a bit soapy.

bottle pour..medium orange color with a decent sized head..nose is citrus dominant with pineapple and mango leading the way with malty presence...light bodied clean tasting ipa that mimics the nose..lots of citrus burst, light presence lemony smooth texture..not getting much pine action..citrus dominant for sure..overall pretty enjoyable offering, however lacks that bitter punch..

Oooooh here we go. From a can into a tulip Explosive head. A bold reddish amber Malty, piney. Like a fresh cut pine tree. But theres a citrus in there as well.. mango. Definitely mango. Orange. Lemon. Taste is pretty solid. Piney. very hoppy. that citrus is in there as well. Overpowering hops. Palate is rough. Hops have a long finish. Overpower the other flavors. And sort of watery. Not so watery, but itís very wet not dry. Overall this ainít no 97th percentile beer, but it isnít bad either. An above average IPA but nothing to write home about. You see... I have this theory that Sweetwater is so popular because they are like... the one large brewery in the southeast. Sure other breweries are popping up but Sweetwater is what people know, and oh god in Atlanta and even South Carolina people are obsessed. The beer from Sweetwater is not bad, but itís not this fountain of eternal youth people think it is. Thereís my rant.

Draft pour. Pours a clear gold with a whet head of foam. The aroma is grassy and light. Difficult to pick anything up. The taste isa west and citrusy fruits. Tropical fruits as well. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Pint mug From: Total Wine in Ballantyne (Charlotte), N.C. Price: $15.99 for a variety 12-pack Purchased: July 30, 2014 Consumed: July 30, 2014 Misc.: Enjoy by Sept. 22, 2014 Poured a caramel, amber, honey clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of khaki white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Good spiderweb lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention on the top of the glass all the way down. Smelled grapefruit, piney, citrus hops, floral hops, caramel, bitter spices and orange rind. It all dried up late. Tasted similar to the nose. Very good. Got piney grapefruit, citrus, floral, caramel, Simcoe, Centennial and Mosaic. It reminded me a bit of a session IPA. Light-to-medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. Really enjoyed this IPA.

Cloudy amber with thin white head. Aroma is pine and grapefruit. Flavor is strong citrus, again, mostly grapefruit. Nice hops presence without an overpowering bitterness.

BBD 9/15/14. Clear medium amber pour with a very faint ruby tint. Excellent head, lacing and retention. Very nice nose of grapefruit and tropical (mango) with a touch of spice and pine over a very light biscuit. Medium bodied with a normal carbonation level that imparts a bit of effervescence on the finish. Nice balanced flavor profile with a bit of hop complexity in a blended fashion. It begins with the flavors of the nose then flows into a mild bitterness. The finish is dry, not quite crisp, and leaves you with a light grapefruit rind bitterness and a touch of spice.
