emacgee (1010), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA May 7, 2008 Thanks ucusty. Pours a light copper amber with a two finger creamy off orange head. The nose is hoppy, earthy, malty, a little weird. Bottle seems like it may be off. Probably a good IPA. Flavor is nice and hoppy, citrusy hops, sweet malt, earthy flavors. Very light alcohol. Finishes a little funky and old. Taking the bottle condition into account this is probably pretty good.
swoopjones (1092), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep copper color. Piney & citrusy grapefruit aroma. Nice medium mouthfeel. Very good hop presence. Well balanced. Very good IPA Kevster (192), Bradenton, Florida, USA Aug 20, 2008 On tap @ the Draft House (Atlanta airport): Pours a clear copper with a frothy off-white head that is mostly lasting leaving nice lacing. Hoppy aroma has hints of pine and grapefruit. Flavor is citrusy with a tangy and bitter finish that is smooth and refreshing. A must try for any Hop lover! darn1207 (227), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 10, 2008 12oz bottle. copper pour with thin off-white head and soapy lacing. strong tropical fruit and pine aroma. really pleasant smell. grapefruit hops in the tasted. a nice smooth bitter throughout. very drinkable. good hot summer six pack material. wcampbell (411), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 28, 2008 By far the best beer that I have had from sweetwater. This is one of the most drinkable IPAs I have had. Nice strong flavor of citrus hops and light malt sweetness. Lightly bitter finish. Perfectly balanced. Light carbonation and small head. oreogobbler (139), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pours a cloudy dark yellow. Thin head. The aroma is a bouquet of citrus, pine, and just a little touch of hops. Lime, Lemon, pineapple, pine. The flavor is an increadably balanced mix of all of the above. Not too hoppy and not to over baring, the palate is smooth and thick but easily drinkable anytime of day. Wonderful example of an IPA.
