A flame throwin’ Rye IPA ignited by a 25% shot of rye malt and capped by a booty hoppin’ blast of Mt Hood and Centennial hops that makes this IPA bounce!

12oz bottle. Orange pour, white rocky foam. Good lace. Aroma of citrus hops, nice pine. Smells like a C-note IPA. Flavor is of toasted pale malt, caramel & biscuit. Rye tingle is very subtle. I find the rye easy to detect, but did have to look for it. It’s a nice sweetwater medium between IPA and 420. Id like a more dominate rye character. (3578)

The rye spice is a little faint on this one but the c hops are a little more out front. I’ll take the c hops every day. Pours murky orange with a white head. Aroma is tangerine and sweet orange. Flavor does have a touch of spice on the finish with some grain and caramel malt mid palate. This drink works its way from the nose to the front of the tongue and back through the back of your throat in a deliberate and tasty fashion.

Pours an amber gold with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, malt and pine. Taste is malty, with a kick of rye and the finish of citrus. Pretty nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice hazy golden orange with a one finger head that doesn’t stick around for long but leaves some spotty lacing, nose is tangerine and grape fruit, taste follows suit with a nice creamy texture on the palate, moderate carbonation,a good solid rye ipa..cheers

Orange pour with white head. Aroma is bready, citurs hops, and the rye. Medium malt, with a nice hoppy bitter, a bito breadiness. Medium body with a tad aggressive carbonation. nice beer.

This poured a yellowish orange color with a white head. The aroma contains some rye but more citrus is showing through IPA style. The flavor is rather bitter with some citrus, namely oranges, and pine. Again the rye is a bit hard to detect but it aint no thang for me. Overall this is a good beer.

Bright ryed IPA nose with a thin, Yellow orange look and thin head and lacing. Really nice flavoring, not deep and complex but bright and fresh. Mouth feel is light but fits with the rest of the brew and after taste is nice. Overall, I love all that is sweetwater, they can do no wrong in my eyes!

Smoke/rye/hint of citrus. Color is light compared to some ipas. Very light easy to deal with pallet. Seems like it would pair easily with many food groups

12oz bottle. Best by 12/20/12, enjoyed 12/26/12. Lightly toasty rye malt nose. Mildly hazy yellow orange color. Thin white head, good lace. Spicy rye grain hop flavor. Nice citrusy grapefruit hop note in there. Citrus peel. Medium body. Crisp lighter carbonation. Dry finish.
