A flame throwin’ Rye IPA ignited by a 25% shot of rye malt and capped by a booty hoppin’ blast of Mt Hood and Centennial hops that makes this IPA bounce!

From a 12 oz bottle in Hilton Head SC. Pours a clear light amber with a thick frothy white head. Grassy hop aroma. Pretty muted flavors, dominated by hop bitterness.

What a nice surprise here. Pours orange-amber into the glass, with an eggshell head that reduces to a thin cap, leaving chunky lace. The nose is floral and woody, with rye accents. Flavors are extremely well-balanced, a nice dollop of rye, pale malts, nice orange citrus, some rind/peel notes, and finishing with the peppering rye and floral bitters. Again, the balance is very well done, with a smooth and active mouthfeel, providing an extremely easy quaff. Good stuff here, and I’m very glad to have picked it in my mix-’n-match. Will definitely have again.

Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a 1 finger white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and a little rye. Taste is hop forward, resiny citrus orange flavor with a rye spiciness that follows. Body is medium, with moderate carbonation. Overall a nice rye IPA, balanced and flavorful.

12oz bottle. Pours a bright melon orange with a thin layer of white frothy cream. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is beautiful resiny west coast hops. Flavors are well blended - grassy rye flavors mix with the bright hop notes. I do enjoy rye IPAs and this one highlight the exact reasons why. They were made to go together. Very nice.

Bottle. Good citrusy hop nose. Light, clear orange/brown color. Very hop forward initial / balances in mid palate (maybe just a bit too sweet), and then some good pepper emerges / hop hits in final, with a slight burn in aftertaste. Easily the best beer I’ve had from Sweetwater

On draft at Tampa Brewing Co. Decided to go with something light and easy to drink, I was more thirsty then anything. Light floral aroma with a little bit of citrus. Nothing really stood out but it wasn’t terrible.
