Tap at proof. Clear orange with white head. Rye earthy spiceyness. Ginger? Lots of herbal earthy hop character and rye. Light body drinkable. Good for at hot day but not blown away.

Pours an amber gold with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, malt and pine. Taste is malty, with a kick of rye and the finish of citrus. Pretty nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours gold with a slight white head and surprisingly thick lacing. Sweet citrusy aroma without much of the rye on the nose. Same with the taste. Very citrusy and floral hop character without much rye bite. Very easy drinking.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2013 This is an OK ipa but is easily drinkable. Did not think it had enough body and there was a serious lack of hop bitterness and aroma. Overall a good beer but easily forgettable.

Tangy, American amber aroma - hoppy, tannic, light diacetyl. Medium bronze pour, clingy foam on the side of the glass that looks like the inside binding on 19th century books - arched and draping. Sweetwater needs to ditch the two yokels fishing for rainbow trout, and make the label about the brew rather than the brand. Pineapple flavors up front, but not so sweet. Muted toffee/caramel, spruce/juniper, rye twang. Sturdy bittering. Citrusy finish. Medium to slightly heavy body, a heavy wet blanket mouthfeel. Warming, above its ABV. Picked up fresh, raw green beans, oddly, in the finish which was generally long and hoppy/bitter. New Leaf Market, past the two hippie chicks fighting over the last organic rutabaga.
