COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Road trips are carefree adventures that usually take unexpected twists, like when we created this beer. It started out as a Pilsner recipe, but halfway through it blew a tire and Ale yeast was put on as the spare. The result was so good, it never could have been planned!

Bottle from Warehouse Wine in Spring Hill. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is pale malt, some light caramel, some pepper, and some yeast with hints of grass and hay. Flavor is similar- pale malt, some hay, some grassy hops, and some dry and peppery yeast toward the finish. Easy-drinking and light in body, but the yeast really dries it out at the end.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden straw color with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon, and citrus. Light watered down body. Taste a bit metallic, with grass, lemon, and citrus. Pale malts. Bitter dry finish. One road trip I hope I never have to take.

This pours a yellow-gold color with a good thick white head. The aroma is herbal and grassy, with bready notes, and a bit of citrus. The flavor doesn’t offer any surprises; bready, grassy, and a touch citrusy, with a dry, bitter finish. The body is slick, a touch sweet, and fuller than expected, and is the only place where I can see the ale influence. This beer is good, but because of this isn’t as refreshing as I’d like. Otherwise this comes across as a solid Pilsner, which certainly is fine with me.

The beer has a citrus smell with a hint of lemon. The head is not very strong. It has a golden color. Initially the taste is quality, but the aftertaste in not that pleasant.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow on tap with thin filmy head that sticks lightly. Aroma is bready grains and corn malt, taste follows. Bubbly and light on the tongue, easy to drink but not sure I will be drinking much of it, not for me.

12oz bottle . Bright yellow color, fizzy, small head. Smells a little sweet oddly, bit of malts. Flavor is crisp, slightly sweet (very slight), mouthfeel is a little slick which kind if makes it less drinkable. Overall not bad but not the most refreshing pilsener and not one I would buy again, glad I got a single. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-24-2012 20:47:34
