3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared from a 12oz bottle into a nonic glass. It poured a mostly clear yellow colour with deep, sudsy, white foam, long-lasting with lots of lace. Fairly neutral pilsener-style grainbill with some pleasant hops in the aroma, lots more hops in the flavour. Faintly fruity and spicy ale characteristics. Light body, strong carbonation, crisp and clean finish. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Floral, spicy, honey, and lemony aromas. Hazy yellow-orange with a fairly lasting, white head. Dry, fruity, and spicy. Light, zippy, and refreshing. A very decent harmonization of an American craft golden ale and a hoppy pilsner; the ale yeast adds a complex plethora of fruity aromas and flavors, balancing beautifully with the sharp snap of earthy, grassy, spicy hops.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from Harris Teeter Carrboro, best by July 22.
Ar: Aroma is grassy, bread dough, and a bit of fruitiness.
Ap: Pours a crystal clear light copper/gold with a small frothy head that leaves nice lace.
T: Slightly sweet malty flavor up front, finish is nicely bittered with grass and lemony notes.
P: Medium-thin body, medium carbonation.
O: Gotta go against the grain a bit on this one. This is a nice spring/summer beer.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 From the tackle box. Pours opaque orange-ish yellow with white head and really thick line of lace resembling a 2D mountain range. Aroma is bready and grassy. Taste is equal malts and hops. Nice balance smooth finish. Oily mouthfeel. Decent.

12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of pale malts and light hops. Flavor the same, with nothing standing out. Flavor the same. Average to light texture. Boring beer.
