crizay (1056), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Mar 23, 2008 Golden pour, medium fluffy white head. Aroma isbready, butter, and straw. Flavor is pretty much the same buttery, bready and just stale graininess.. It’s worse than a light bmc.
Cybercat (326), USA May 5, 2008 Aroma is well-rounded, malty and yeasty with a hint of banana. It pours a nice clear amber with a very thick white head that sticks around. Flavor is interesting - like a lager, and yet hoppy like an IPA, crisp, both hop-bitter and fruity-sweet, a little tart. If this beer was the result of an accident, it was a happy one, resulting in a smooth, sassy, satisfying ale. CheersMate1 (255), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 22, 2008 This beer has a nice gold color with a slight caramel hue. The beer looks like a brew that my bro and I just brewed. It is just funny how they are charging nearly 9$ for this crap. This beer has a nice fruity aroma. It has a pilsner/fruit aroma. I smell the hops slightly, but they are not that pungent. I can see where it started out as a pils, but they decided to change the recipe. A subtle hop aroma, but mainly matls. Not really that creamy. It seems like they watered the beer down a wee bit. It can be creamy at times, but not as much as I would like it to be. There are some nice flavors here, but there is nothing that stands out. The beer is a huge let down considering Sweetwater is a local brewery to me. For an ale this thing needs some work. fishingnet (557), Brandon, Florida, USA Apr 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small short lived white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt and butter. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Good. Bockyhorsey (1786), Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 19, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of brentfeesh. Zesty pale lemon citrus aroma. Gold body with white head. Odd flavor as this one has mild bitter some zesty soap, some dry lemon citrus. Lot going on but quenched the palate leaves a dry citrus aftertaste. This brew would go good with chicken wings if I had some right now. Thanks Brent.
