...from the bottle. Had some soft wheat and candy notes on the notes. Light body, smoothish mouthfeel. Finished with some orange and lemon notes. It was alright, would have it again,

12 oz bottle pours a cloudy yellow color with a nice white head. Aromas of hay, grass and light malt. Easy drinking, not much too it, but a good beer to drink on a hot day

12 oz. Fuzzy, straw-tinted with a thin film of foam. Sour citrus, wheat and bread yeast aromas. Same mix of flavors with a light touch of honey and a finish of resiny hop. Light body is well-balanced and refreshing. The American Wheat Ale is overall a terrible beer category, but this one isn’t bad.

Westmeister (1828) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 22, 2011
Bottle. Pours almost clear, pale gold hue. The head is small and light. The aroma is faint, but smell of light citrus and light yeasty notes. The taste is not full, but there are some decent hints of citrus and hops that make for a crisp finish. It is a fairly drinkable summertime beverage because the taste is so subtle and light. On the otherhand the from a Wheat perspective it misses due to the lack of anything to remember it by.

12 oz. bottle via trade - Bottle is a few months past it’s "Best Buy Date." My bad for not drinking it sooner. Pours a clear golden color with a 2/3 finger thick white head dissipated slowly . Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is light malt and yeast. Flavor is herbal hops, esters, light yeast, and light malt. Light to medium body. Worth a try.

12oz bottle. Rating #59. Clear light gold pour with a white head. Crisp wheat aroma, very clean. Light flavor with moderate bitterness, very well done with no flaws. Pretty good. (1588)

Light but hazy golden colour with average white head. Yeastie and fruity aroma, citrus. Very refreshing but it gets a bit flat. Citrus notes, light sweetnes and very light sourness in the taste. low carb, light body and short after taste with sour notes. Allright, but it misses flavour and character. It could be better.

otakuden (1783) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2011
Appearance: clear yellow under a lingering white head surrounded by a weak bubbly collar. Swirls with minimal head and not much else.
Nose: touch of lemon mixed in with bread crusts, husked grains, a dash of cracked pepper, and raw citric skins.
Palate: American wheat all the way. Soft breads mingle with lemon skins, the bitterness lingering in the back. Cracked pepper in the breath while toasted bread crusts and raw grains dance along the edges. Softest up front with a full middle and finish.
Final Thoughts: another solid brew from Sweetwater. Now if only they were available in southern Florida life would be gooder.

Definitely has a wheat/bread taste. Flavor is mild, light. Light golden colored.
