12oz bottle.Pours a cloudy yellow with a foamy white head that fades quick.Nose is lemony and yeasty.Taste is clean and light with lemon and banana flavors with ever so slight hops on the back end. This beer is no award winner....unless the category is Pool Beer.I for one will be purchasing many 6 packs this summer I can already tell.....

Pours a very light pale with minimal head. It has a nice malty attack which mellows to a wheat/meal finish.

12 oz. bottle

Appearance Pours a cloudy, bright yellow gold with a pillowy white head. The foam leaves behind spotty lace.

Aroma: Bread dough, banana, citrus essence.

Taste: Spicy hops, fruity yeast, banana. Finishes clean and bitter.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate fizz.

Overall: Pretty enjoyable for a style I don’t go after. I got this pretty fresh, so the hops are standing out quite nicely.

This is a very nice representative of what Sweet Water really does well, classic well balanced beers conforming to traditional styles. It is a tough job and rarely gets much credit but damn it can be nice. Aroma is pure hay, smells like the farm. Color is very pale with good lacing. Taste is very crisp and well balanced with hints of caramel and hay. Palate is very well rounded and hay.

Not a bad summer beer, but definitely nowhere near as good as it’s predecessor, The Summer Hummer.

A little on the lighter side of wheats here with a toned down grain profile. A touch of banana hiding in there with the requisite lemon citrus flavors. Pale yellow color with a big ol white head. Toasty grain aroma. Decent but nothing to send home mama.

12oz bottle. Pours yellow gold with slight haze and a thin white head. Nose is very malty with bready wheat malt, light sweetness, and subtle fruitiness. Overall, malty aroma. Flavor is malty and wheaty with light floral hops. Balanced with wheat and spicy delicate hops with moderate sweetness. Finish is somewhat dry with some residual sweetness. Mouthfeel is full bodied (almost chewy for a beer of such modest gravity) with a crisp and refreshing tickle of CO2. Overall, quite refreshing and drinkable. A pleasant warm weather brew.

12 ounce bottle poured a hazy golden color with aromas of bread and wheat. Has the flavors of straw, wheat, and very nice in the summer heat while cooking out.

12oz bottle. hazy pale gold with a medium sized, foamy, white head. aroma is nice with lemony zest and notes of soft, sweet vanilla candy. a sweet graham cracker pie crust malt and some tangy, tart citrus notes. the palate is light and juicy with medium-high sharp carbonation. standard, but highly quaffable. i miss the spices of hummer though.

It’s a really good thing that Sweetwater makes better beer than names. They name their beers like tipsy frat boys, but they make beer like true pros. This is an American wheat. There’s not a lot of hop character, nothing all that out of the ordinary, but there is a very forward wheat maltiness and a very slight tartness that makes this incredibly refreshing. Good beer, although I’d probably buy the Hummer instead.
