Sampled during CBC 2013. Golden pour with a small off-white head. Light aroma, hints of citrus, lemon, bready pils malts, and a light pepper bite. Malty flavor, doughy, pils malts, a bit of citrus and spice. Not bad.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample from a growler shared by ryan @ RBSG. Pours a clear yellow/golden color with a small creamy white head. The aroma is floral, herbal and lightly grassy hops with a pale, bready malt base. The flavor has a pale bready malt base with a hefty dose of herbal grassy hops. Light citrus notes throughout. Moderate bitterness, fairly dry, medium bodied. What a great way to start the grand tasting off; easily the best pilsner Iíve had. Thanks ryan!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Merrifield location. Cloudy golden/yellow color. Aroma is sweet with a bit of grass. Frankly this is one of the better pilsners Iíve had in a long time (Iím not a huge fan and they usually leave a dry, unpleasant grass taste in my mouth). Perhaps itís because it might not have been a "true to the bone" pilsner. I liked it.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a wonderfully large and menacing growler via Kmweaver. Shared with my GF Cyn and likely a whole bunch of people later tonight. Pours golden sparkly clear with a nice big puffy white head. Really nice head retention, really nicely sealed flip top growler. Nose is sweet and light and pretty damn nice. Hoppy with a bright lemony citrus bite. This is really damn tasty and a little bitter and pretty damn awesome for the style, probalby wouldnít seek this out unless I had known it was so good, this could be sessioned for days. Very drinkable and full of flavor.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Pours a hazy gold with a very nice, fluffy white head. This one leaves behind great lacing. Very light nose with hints of bread, citrus, and hay. Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. Bread and citrus rind on the palate. It isnít as crisp as I would like it to be, but that being said, it is okay. Finishes very clean with just a bit of lingering bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft, Merrifield location. Pours a clear, pale golden color; bright white head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing; a gorgeous pour. Solid amounts of dry mineral bitterness in the aroma; yellow fruits, very nicely dry. Medium mouthfeel: tons of soft mineral and citrus bitterness; chewy yellow fruits and toasty malts; very creamy on the palate, while maintaining its dryness overall; very accomplished, surprisingly good pilsner. Lengthy finish: dry bitterness, mineral hops, and toasty malts; clean, crisp ending to a tasty beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear straw body with a large, creamy white head that fades to a cover. Herbal/grassy hop dominated nose with lemon and light dough. The flavor is fairly dry, moderately bitter with lots of grassy and herbal hops, light lemon, light bread and a bit of hay. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. Finish is long with a clean, crisp bitterness. Awesome.
