Beginning almost a decade ago we began working with Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper to help them in their mission of protecting the river which provides clean water for millions of folks in the southeast (quite possibly you and definitely the brewery!) What began as donating cases of Sweetwater for fundraisers and post river clean refreshments turned into the Save the Hooch Campaign, raising over $250,000 to date for UCR’s mission. The success of the campaign has spread throughout the southeast to other local communities and their local Waterkeepers. Waterkeeper Hefeweizen continues our mission to raise aware

poured a large white foamy head. aroma was light, very little scent of banana and bread. Taste was of bananas and white bread. very light on the palate, a bit too light for my licking but no bitterness made it somewhat pleasing. rather light but finishes smooth. overall not bad, my second Hefeweisen, and so far I have to say not my favorite variety.

This brew is a slightly hazy pale amber color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal wheat and bready malt. The finish is fruity with a clove and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

This beer almost tastes like it's coming from a 20 year old glass. That was buried. In a cemetery. But after all that, it's not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Six-pack picked up in Myrtle Beach. Pours out a cloudy light orange color with light fizzy carbonation. Classic banana and clove flavor profile. Good earthy and fruity bitterness. Clean and refreshing wheaty finish.

Pours white hazy, long lasting head. Nice banana aroma. Taste is banana, some malt and a hint of spice. Overall a nice hefe, if not overly complex.

Pretty decent American Hefeweizen from Jay brought from South Carolina. Nice, banana dominated nose and taste. Low on cloves. Yes the bananas were ripe. Good stuff.

Slightly sweet aroma, with a hint of banana. Pours a hazy light amber with a full white head. Light body, with a hint of banana and clove. The wheat comes through as well. Higher carbonation, and easy drinking. This is a solid hefeweizen.
