COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beginning almost a decade ago we began working with Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper to help them in their mission of protecting the river which provides clean water for millions of folks in the southeast (quite possibly you and definitely the brewery!) What began as donating cases of Sweetwater for fundraisers and post river clean refreshments turned into the Save the Hooch Campaign, raising over $250,000 to date for UCRís mission. The success of the campaign has spread throughout the southeast to other local communities and their local Waterkeepers. Waterkeeper Hefeweizen continues our mission to raise aware

Pale, hazy yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is slight banana and slightly earthy. Flavor is clean up front with a slightly musty aftertaste. Some cloves are pleasant throughout. Overall, decent hefeweizen, but not anything special.

Pours a hazy golden orange. Aromas of bread/bananas/ and some fruit. Had a taste of yeasty bread with some spice. Not as clove/banana as most Hefs Iíve tried.

Poured from a bottle to a weizen glass. 4.5 A: Moderately hazed medium orange color. Big ass four fingers of creamy/pillowy off-white head. Retention is very good like itís supposed to be and glass covering lacing is left. 3.75 S: Musty with herbal/earthy/grainy wheat from the start. Peppery yeastiness with notes of semi-bitter orange peel and bubblegum. The musty/earthiness is something I donít encounter too often in the style, but it sure does work well. 4.0 T: The taste is closer to the typical hefe. Big peppery yeast spiciness, banana, bubblegum, orange peel. Again grainy and not too dry and not too sweet; right where it should be. 3.75 M: Lighter medium body. Good bubbly carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth. 4.0 D: Very nice beer. A bit different from the typical hefe, but has all the required components as well. ★ 861 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 01, 2015

12 oz. bottle pours a hazy yellow color with huge white head that lasts and leaves a little lacing. Aroma has wheat, banana, cloves, and a bit of lemon. Taste is on the sweet side with a short drier finish. Body is light to medium with a crisp mouthfeel and average carbonation. Very easily drinkable, and well within the normal boundaries of a hefeweizen. Iím glad I tried one, and will think of this favoribly the next time I see one offered.

poured a large white foamy head. aroma was light, very little scent of banana and bread. Taste was of bananas and white bread. very light on the palate, a bit too light for my licking but no bitterness made it somewhat pleasing. rather light but finishes smooth. overall not bad, my second Hefeweisen, and so far I have to say not my favorite variety.

This brew is a slightly hazy pale amber color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal wheat and bready malt. The finish is fruity with a clove and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

This beer almost tastes like it's coming from a 20 year old glass. That was buried. In a cemetery. But after all that, it's not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
